They will lose. You know why? Because the NFL is actually classified legally as Sports Entertainment. Yep, it is WWF. (The only other "Sport" classified that way.)
So, since they (the fans) were entertained there is nothing the NFL did wrong, (except being dishonest punks)

You know what this means? That website lost money on the Saints Rams game.

Talk about Pandora’s Box.
This will eventually put sports betting out of business.
Bad calls have altered so many games and directly changed the outcomes for forever.
Totally agree the wrong two teams made it to the SB but this happens all the time, just more egregious some times over others. It’s made more noticeable lately because they keep adding more dumb rules that are impossible to consistently enforce. More rules = more opportunities for ref errrors by which the NFL can steer games a certain way
Now you are getting it.

Also the speed and reach of social media. My first reaction to this tweet was that the betting site was probably getting death threats.
I actually have seen something like this before, almost first-hand, and it wasn't death threats, but one guy who put in a massive bet that totaled more than all the other bets from other peeps combined and he pulled sway on what appeared to be a fix.
Fearing that refunding his bet would get out, they had to refund all bets to preemptively stop any backlash.
This was on a boxing match though...
I would not be surprised if this was the case again.

Good on them. Expensive play though, could set an unwanted precedent...

however I'm sure they'll make this money back based on the news of them refunding it.
Better than people stopping betting because they feel like the refs are bought. That was so egregious that the refs being paid off actually makes more sense then them missing the call.

The field judge who was looking right at the play should never work in the NFL again and should have his financials gone through like a colonoscopy. He obviously had $$ on the Ram$.

The NFL has a HUUUUUUUUGE problem and they don’t want to address it.

I been saying for years that the refs see what they want to see. Like that awful roughing the passer call in the Pats game.

I know right now that people will have forgotten by next season, but man, sooner or later this will start costing them if they keep it up.

I cannot figure out exactly what happened, but it was bad, of that there is no doubt.

It's unfortunate because the only thing to really make the Super Bowl not have an asterisk on it will be if the Patriots blow out the Rams. That'll show that neither team would've stood a chance against the Patriots. If the Rams lose a close game, people will always wonder if the Saints would've won. If the Rams win, people would wonder if they Saints also would've won.

Let me just put something clearly for yall to understand. The Saints are not in the same league as the Rams. With Talib and Fowler and Suh playing like a monster, there a reason Michael Thomas, Kamara, Ingram was all shut down. Even Marcus Peters has been amazing during the playoff. Jared freaking Goff outplay Drew Brees and the ******* ref (the same ref crew that the Rams are 0-8) so don't give me this BS for rigged game when the Saints didn't even get a flag until the third quarter.
