That obviously didn't happen given that there were games where Cooper didn't get many looks.
But that doesn't explain why Gallup was the one who got more targets as the season went on. Cooper didn't effect Beasley's targets. It was Gallup who did.

Which btw, Beasley is complaining but he was getting all the targets he could get and he was dropping balls and not getting open.
remember we have a gunshy qb. just because cooper didn't get the ball doesn't mean he didn't get the initial read on the play. you guys know that was significant investment for the Jones idiots when they gave up that 1st. they were the laughing stock of the league for a few days. i'm sure over the 2nd half of the season they made sure to remind Linehan about this whenever Cooper went M.I.A. this could also explain why Linehan was ready to leave too.

I find yours "moronic". How in the hell is Jerry coaching the team from his press box?
Dont be obtuse. I never said caling every play and you know it.

You never answered why Garrett the puppet HC had no idea of personnel decisions then had to backtrack and claim he forgot what he said after the real head coach contradicted him.

Look not gonna argue the obvious with you, yoy lap up the party line. As i said carry on but I'm not wasting my time w you

If Beasley's baby arms were longer like most 6 foot guys....he wouldn't have had to dive for the pass. End of discussion.

It would still be in front of him! LOL Watch the dang play again.

Take a break from football. Do some crossword puzzles, read some books, exercise your brain. You're complicating football far more than someone with an average brain should LOL

He wasn't a one trick pony when he caught a 32 yard game winning TD just a few weeks ago while making it a diving catch on a pass throw too far in front of him....
And his previous long was 21 yds way back in week 10. Beasley doesn't scare anybody. That game winner was on a scramble drill. he does not line up and run deep routes. Nor does he run even intermediate routes. he runs those quick hitters that will get 8-10 yds. That's what he's good at and he's made a good living doing it. But he sounds like he thinks he should be the focal point of the offense. There are WR like him all over the NFL. he can be replaced fairly easily this off season with somebody that will be cheaper and probably just as good.

Don't worry Garrett and Boy Genius Moore calling plays next season

He made some noise earlier this year talking about getting top shelf slot WR money (Landry, Edelman, Cobb, Tate).

What Beasley is saying is that crap pop warner coach, "Linehan" with his vanilla playbook, didn't target me enough. Go get them Beasley.

Well let me say this. If that's true? Then the Jones's should've stepped in. Cooper is a premier talent. If Linehan had to be told to force the ball to him? HE deserved to be fired then lol.

This place has no idea what they are ever on about. Last week, it was all Linehan's fault "running a 90s offense". Now it's Beasley's fault. I mean, just the fact that someone in here thinks the slot will always be the "3rd or 4th" option tells you very few know what they are on about or even watching.

Beasley getting 65 catches as the "3rd or 4th" option - well, must not being too bad at that position and maybe we should start looking at the first and second options?
By Beasley once again opening his backstabbing, ungrateful, big mouth, he's actually doing the Cowboys and the receiving crew a huge favor. Cowboys will use this recent Twitter rant to cut this unappreciative headache, and fill his spot with Michael Gallup. Amari Cooper will remain WR1 with the rest of the crew (including another possible 2019 draft pickup) and the emergence of Cedrick Wilson to battle for the starting WR2 position. Talk about having a bigger, taller, more aggressive and faster starting 3 WRs (Amari, Gallup and Wilson) crew. I'll take it!

the catch was far superior to the throw. outstanding by any measure. your defense of the cowboys, however misguided in this instance, is commendable.
I disagree. The catch was great. The throw was great as well. He evaded sacks and made a tough throw a lot of guys in this league can't make. He wasn't going to hit him in the numbers on that throw. Just wasn't.

What do you mean in front of him? You mean to "lead" him like you guys claim he can't do? Now you are mad he "lead" his receiver too far? Make up your mind lol .I don't even get upset by your posts anymore. I use to think you were just stupid. But you are clearly trolling.

You shouldn't waste time with me if you make statements and then backtrack what you'd. And what does Garrett being a puppet and have no idea about personnel decisions with what we're talking about? How is that equivalent to coaching from the press box?

I'd believe it. We watched Zeke go from 2 catches a game to about 6 catches a game immediately after the bye week - think the coaching staff wasn't in Dak's ear telling him he needs to throw to Zeke more? I'm not complaining about throwing it to Elliott more, but the FO has an idea of where they want the ball to go.

As far as Beasley: he's gone, he knows he's gone, and he's in bridge-burning mode now.

It certainly doesn't sound like a guy prepared to give a hometown discount. Beasley has likely played his last snap as a Cowboy. I like Beasley, but my guess is Dallas low balls him and he tries his luck out on the market.
