Not going through 9 pages of the same rehashed bs so forgive me if someone beat me to this.

If we were Ram's fans on a Ram's forum many of you guys trashing Goff would be blaming the o-line, the scheme, the receivers dropping balls, the QB coach and the defense for giving up one late TD while defending Goff to the death.

I'm trashing Goff because the guy can't read a defense. He can't look beyond his 1st receiver .

Talking about potential drop off in stats and in that case you know people will blame him rather than Dak or scheme, aka the Dez treatment. I'm hoping he has a great year, but what I'm saying is that there's a chance we don't get the Cooper we're expecting especially if Beasley isn't here.
There is a chance for a lot of things.

However, Dez was never as good as Dak and Amari were together. So while there could be a slight dropoff in performance, it will still be very good. Short of injury, I see this only getting better though.

Wentz and Goff have comparable numbers to take in way less games.

They both also have more attempts per game than Dak making the numbers close, so the difference in games doesnt mean as much. Also 13 and 16 more TDs is quite a bit more.

I was surprised to see Wentz easily the lowest in yards per attempt, and Goff easily the highest in that category.

I'll take Dak. Why, you ask? Well, I'm glad you asked. It's simple, and it's not based on the chart. It's because he's our QB, simple as that.

What the SB last night showed is what everybody probably deep down knows, but overlook in this Fantasy Football stats era. It's difficult to play QB at the NFL level and experience is the holy grail. All 3 guys in the chart above have only completed 3 years. Romo said it best in his interview this summer. The game had slowed down by the time he had gotten to his final few years. NFL teams have gone to all this college style crap simply because the QB (and o-lineman as well) aren't ready so they have to run something they're familiar with.

The one thing I will say about Goff and the Rams that I really like is he plays predominantly from under center. Doesn't mean he's any better than anybody else, but at least it looks more like an NFL QB.

Lol, what does average attempts mean when looking at raw totals?

You wanna look at rushing TDs which inflate Dak’s overall totals but fail to mention Wentz and Goff have played 8-10 less games respectively, so their TD totals would obviously be much different with those added games.

I don't disagree and I'm not defending Goff.

My post was directed at the few who lash out against any critiscm of Dak but trash Goff.

If Goff was their boy the opposite would be happening.

What?
So you're saying that games played matters when looking at raw stats, but attempts per game in those games that they have played dont matter? Are you serious?

They would be different, and if Dak passed as often as the other two per game it would look different too. And his rushing TDs aren't inflating anything lol, they're just a part of his TD total.

Where's that thread I created? I won't drag it back up. I'll just reiterate the title.

Dak > Goff
