So let's get the ball rolling already. What's the plan with Mike White? Big arm. He's been stowed away somewhere all season. 6'4" 225lbs. Throws a rocket. He's gotta be about 6'6" 240lbs by now. Is he going to make Cooper Rush a forgotten man this year? I hear Moore and White are like Tony and Jason. Best buds. Interesting.

He will probably unseat Rush as the back-up QB. And continue to develop as the primary back-up QB.

The only way he will get a chance to start is if Dak gets hurt, or if he absolutely bombs. I don’t see these coaches changing the starting QB based on off-season practice.

Never the less, White is an intriguing player for sure.

Plan like every other back-up QB.. over prepare and never relinquish reins if you get a chance to start....see Dak

Remember Stephen McGee? There you go.

Let us all hope White has a much larger upside. His services may become necessary at a moment's notice 2-3 years down the road. He better be ready to step in and step up by then.

I am big on developing Quarterbacks, ironically, I don't think most NFL teams are. I think that the team always should have 3 on the roster and 1 on the practice squad. I also think that the team should have a quarterback coach for each QB. The position is too valuable not to invest time in ensuring proper footwork and a quick accurate release.

Mike White should be coming along nicely in his development. I have always heard that the speed of the game is the most difficult aspect of a QB prospering. Young QBs often can't process the information pre-snap and then go through the progressions quick enough to become a starter. Hopefully, Mike White has been working his craft this season and learning.

As good as Romo was reporters always talked how horrific he was during his first two years of practice. But Tony committed himself to winning a starting role.

Mike White will have to be extraordinary to displace Dak. Dak has had a lot of wins his first three seasons. A contract dispute or injury will be the only way that White reaches the field.

My expectations of Mike White is to see a vast improvement during camp and pre-season. I did not see that leap from Rush last season and I hope that one of those guys will show their value. I few years back I wanted Dallas to draft Vaughan. Dallas did not but signed him as a. Undrafted free-agent. He looked good as a rook then looked horrific the next pre-season.

I hope that White develops into a starter or trade-bait. I also think that for a QB to develop that they have to have that desire to excel. Often, QBs are prima donnas that have been catered to and when they enter the pros they are just-a-guy. We will see when camp breaks.

We need to develop him as best we can. In the advent of an injury to dak, we need a backup. After that, who knows.

McGee was a bit of a different case as far as I can see.

Moore really put a lot of work into getting White drafted. He has more of a skin in the game than anyone had with McGee.

We'll see.

The plan I hope is for him to compete next season with Dak. If anything it will push Dak to be better and or White to surpass him.

What'the plan?

Develop him. Coach him up. See what he can become.

That was the plan with Dak until injuries forced him onto the field.

In my opinion, the only chance White will ever have a chance of unseating Prescott in Jones' eyes is if the opportunity presents itself for him to step into a regular season game and have a monster game relative to a Montana or Marino milestone. I do agree though that we will all see eventually.

To keep developing him and see what happens. Nothing’s changed with that. I figure at worst we should get a decent backup out of it. Kid does have a powerful arm.
