4Q Comeback/Game Winning Drive opportunity records

Dak: 13-9 (.591)
Wentz: 4-12 (.250)

QBR on those drives Dak - 83.1 (highest in NFL since 2006)
Wentz - 60.3

Dak has as many game-winning drives (4) against the Eagles as Wentz has in the NFL.

What are you talking about? I posted the stats for the whole 2018 season. We FINISHED 17TH IN YAC. Eagles 7th and Rams 8th.

And the thread title is "Prescott/Goff/Wentz AFTER 3 YEARS"

therefore I'm saying that YAC stats for only 2018 or only half of 2018 don't necessarily tell the entire story.

Maybe the trend is the same over 3 years, but until we have the numbers, it's an opinion you've put out there based on a small segment of the total data.

Goff all day. He is a much better passer than Dak and that is what helps open up their run game typically. I'm partial to QB 's who can throw.

2016. Eagles-18th(1843 yards), Cowboys-25th(1588), Rams-26th(1567)
2017. Rams-7th(2087 yards), Eagles -16th(1549),Cowboys-19th(1378),
2018 Eagles-7th(2207 yards) , Rams-8th(2154), Cowboys -17th(1907).

It's not my opinion. It's a fact.

Romo….. jk…. zero playoff wins and a broken back vs 2 playoff wins and an NFCC championship vs 1 playoff win... I'll go Goff... for now with Dak a close second. Reserve the right to change my opinion yearly ;)

Wentz played 11 games. Here's each QB's passer rating in his last 11 games.

Wentz 102.2
Dak 100.9
Goff 86.6

Eh. Bit of an arbitrary way to slice the data. You’d get very different results if you looked at each of their QB ratings for the first 11 games of 2018, no?

It would be very strange to use Wentz's last 11 games, but skip over the other players' most recent games to look at older 11-game samples just for them and not him. I guess it would be useful for knowing how the guy played in a particular calendar month, for whatever that's worth.

Makes more sense to just look at everybody's last 11 games. That's the most up-to-date information.

Yeah. Except I’m not sure using the most up-to-date info matters a ton here. There’s likely little momentum in player performance from one season to the next. Whether we use Daks’s first 11 or last 11 games of 2018 we’re unlikely to get much insight into 2019.

I guess it’s good to know that Dak has outperformed Goff over their last 11 games. But if knowing that doesn’t tell me much about the future I guess I’d just as soon compare all 3 players on the same 11 weeks of the season.

Dak is the only one of the 3 that walked into the NFL and got to drive a Maserati. He's often driven it like a prius.

What we should be asking is what would Dak have looked like with Jeff Fisher and/or the general the lack of weapons the Eagles/Rams had 3 years ago?
I’d hardly call a Garrett coached offense to be a Maserati...may be a Range Rover with a Ford Escort engine.

Wentz > Dak > Goff

If I knew Wentz was going to be injury prone going forward then I would take Dak over him because I want a QB I can depend on.

Wentz just has so much more upside then the other 2.

I like Dak over Goff because Dak has the intangibles and can step up in big moments.

Goff has way too many deer in the headlight moments and seems completely dependent on his coach.

If it were flag football then i'd take Goff over both of them because he can throw a nice ball but Wentz and Dak are just better football players then him.

He might have a Matt Ryan type of career down the road but i'm just not a fan of his style and I think he's easily shook.
You guys keep bringing up upside but what good is upside if you never fulfill it? And it happens every season. Every draft guys doing hit their ceiling.

I think it's also wise to factor in whether or not a guy actually played in those "last 11 games". I don't see why Wentz should get some "mulligan" for not being available - again.

The most important ability is availability.

Dak is more find a way to win guy. Looks like a ugly garbage truck compared to the other two,but I’ll take Dak with 2 minutes to go. He’s proven he’s a gamer who isn’t fazed by the big lights.

And what exactly has he won in the post season?

The bar has been lowered by some on this site

And I truly feel that he can be much better with better coaching.

I know that Goff, who's getting praise here, was considered a bust after year one under Jeff Fisher. And so were Case Keenum and Nick Foles.

Coaching does matter, a lot, despite what some might try to tell you.
