Is anyone watching the AAF?

I'm not hating on the AAF at all. I'm rooting for both new leagues to succeed - and I'll be watching both.

I'd feel better if I thought the NFLs commitment to the league was more sincere, but I suspect it's not.

So yeah, Matt Simms is not quite the idea they had when trying to design a league where QBs could develop.
Of the 4 teams playing tonight, it appears only Garrett Gilbert showed anything. I'm curious to see what Christian Hackenberg does. It's weird to think with all of the college teams playing, there is such a limited amount of quality QBs available in this world. The pool will only get thinner with the XFL and the other leagues snatching up guys as well.

Will be much better when NFL officially claims one of these leagues and starts allocating their guys. Mike White has to be better than these guys? Right?

Cooper Rush seems like he would fit right in.

I have never understood the charm.

So I am a company. I want my patch on that jersey. Okay.

What is the big deal? Why would it mean a huge exchange of consideration and at some point, cash?

How often are you influenced by stuff like that? How about how a stadium is branded?

I am sorry. Maybe there is something wrong with me, but I just don't find myself being so easily influenced by a logo and/or brand label.

I don't give a rip who the moment is sponsored by.

I chuckled at a Bud Light commercial on Sunday.

That does not mean I am intellectually stunted and will now start to buy that product.

Where are all of the Cooper Rush supporters now? At the beginning of the season, there were many arguing for Noodle Arm to replace Dak. Now it seems many are jumping on the Mike White ship. At least Cooper Rush can be assured of another league to fall back on once he gets cut.

Gavin Escobar still committing false starts. Different league, same results. What a waste of a costly 2nd round pick.

I was impressed with how the Commanders played, and I have heard that unofficially the NFL likes the AAF as a front runner to be the developmental league. I think that if this league can become that for the NFL then it has the potential to be really great.
