Its freaking annoying, you come here to share some camaraderie with actual Cowboy Fans and there is this handful of trolls that not only dwell on the negative but exaggerate it to the point the posts become intolerable to have to read on a Cowboys fan forum . You should not have to put that many people on ignore because they continue to just spam the board with negative propaganda .

When you can come on a Cowboys fan forum and disrespect Roger Staubach something is radically wrong with the forum
It's very sad. The only thing I can imagine is that have very miserable lives.

Even if that no catch was actually called a catch, who's to say that Rogers doesn't march right down the field and score?

It was a catch, but I fully expected Rodgers to walk over our defense yet again. We weren't stopping them. The entire drive, I'm thinking that we have to score, *and* leave no time for Rodgers, or we lose. Of course, Garrett has *never* seen that, and always leaves Rodgers more time to come back and beat us. And he does. And Garrett never learns.

Once the ball was thrown to the goal line, I'm thinking we're toast. Before the catch. Before the overturn. We had Dez run a low percentage route when we needed to convert a fourth *and* burn clock. So totally Garrett. Or Tony. He's gone for the risky big play instead of the play needed to win too.

you defend it, i dont.

we both know the GM isnt leaving so we cant argue that point.

at this point i want JG to do the right thing and walk away but he wont

I defend not fixing what ain’t broke and fixing what’s broke. We disagree on what’s broken, but that’s not the same thing as saying I want the status quo.

Pretty sure he would have against our DL lol... but then who’s to say maybe Tony doesn’t get it back with 1:30 left to play and steals the game?

Tony was on his game that day for sure

There wasn't that much time left in the game.

The problem with fans and the status quo is the thinking that this team who can play some decent games every once in a while due to some star power we have will consistently be able to beat 4 playoff teams in a row.

I say four, because I doubt they're good enough to be the 1st or 2nd seed in this NFC.

The hallmark of Garrett's teams is the ability to win games against bad teams and fortunately for Garrett, the NFC East is extremely weak right now.

We went 5-1 in the division, but 5-5 outside of the division. The thing is, I absolutely expect this team to be demonstrably better next year, but I still don't expect any level of consistently at a high level which the Cowboys have never had under Garrett. It's why he has never reached the NFC Championship. That requires a level of consistency that Garrett does not possess. It's why he has 8.5 years as head coach but only 3 playoff births with a playoff record of 2-3.

McVay performed terribly in the playoffs, but in two years has had his team through 4 playoff games... that is one shy of Garrett in 6.5 less years....

I just find it stunning that people can actually defend his record and this mediocracy.

I think it's stunning that you actually believe it would make a difference if fans defend mediocrity or not. In my way of thinking, only one person can allow mediocrity to continue or not, that particular person has dual titles GM and owner. Buy a team Galian and you'll have the say

If you think fans not going to games and buying merchandise wouldn't move things along, you're mistaken...
