He comes up with great game plans, like the rams game!

That's the problem in a nut shell. Good enough during the regular season, but when it comes to playoff time completely outplayed and dominated. And there's always a new excuse for it.

Lol...says the person who doesn't know what a coaches job is...lol

LOL......you still havent even figured the thread yet.

The question was "what does Garrett do here" not "what do coaches do". LOL

When you figure out the difference genius come on back to the conversation.

Lol....i read that, heard that to, who said he was kicked to the curb? Did Jerry say it? Or are you going on Rumorville...lol ? How do you know Garrett actually wanted to call plays? again ,are you going on speculation, assumption? Ignorance at its finest. Jerry said something about all the assistants kicking and screaming to have their ideas heard, hpw do you know yhat isn't what they all want.

Ignorance indeed. LOL

Not very smart are you? LOL

Everyone knows what a coaches job is, people just wonder what Garrett does. If your a fan of Garrett you are one of 3 that I know of.
I don't know... I've seen multiple conflicting posts about coaching just today that suggests:
No- Everyone does not know what a coach's job is.
Not a position coach, not a coordinator, not a head coach.

Nobody really knows. Maybe some here who have been NFL coaches do, but they need to stand up and be accounted for.
I just get high school and amateur coaches around these parts expounding upon their individual experiences and even they are not in unison.

So... No.

Gotta love guys that want to speak for everyone.

There are Head Coaches and there are puppets like Garrett. Very big difference.

How many other puppets are there like Garrett in the NFL?

1st: who is this "he" you're referring to?
2nd: I include myself in being clueless to the true truths of how things are done.
I'm not a person who thinks they know everything about everything.

And... what's really hurting you Roy? What about this hurts you? You really think you know how to run and coach a football team?
What do you do?
Are you some GM of something I should know about?

Or are you some goob CPA, or something talking and talking?

offense
scheme design - moore given job to modernize offense to make it less predictable. jerry publicly said that moore needs to go to him if garrett tries to interfere with that
play calling - moore

defense
scheme - richard/marinelli
play calling - richard?

other areas
drafting - some input
clock management - often with disastrous results
press conferences - garrett
serving jones' upon demand - garrett
what does Garrett do?...he sneaks and hides and takes pictures of Jerry Jones in embarrassing situations and threatens to show media unless he gets another year as cowboy head coach

how much do i need to spell it out. garrett had 2 years and he did not even fixed the timekeeping problem. that should be simple to do - hire someone to do it.

garrett clinging to his job means the team is mediocre. does not suck but does not win when it matters. that is the worst possible outcome. team is predictable week in and week out. he is either too stubborn to consider other options or too lazy to consider other options. he gets rid of better coaches from his staff so there is no immediate threat to his job as he knows the fo is risk averse. that is why he is a cancer.
Abc :lmao:
