No, you don't get it... QBR literally doesn't have a career average. That isn't how it works. You can't say a guy had a 50 QBR and then a 70 QBR and his career average is 60. ESPN created the stat, not pfr (lol). ESPN has a lot of articles on QBR, you need to read them before you spout your ignorant nonsense... but the summary is that it's a season adjusted stat and a career average wouldn't make any sense in that context. Quick, what is Dak's career QBR? Why did they leave it blank?

http://www.espn.com/nfl/player/stats/_/platform/ios/id/2577417/dak-prescott

And please stop with the nonsense... there is zero evidence that any GM would start Dak besides Jerry. Most of the quotes we have on Dak from GMs is when they unanimously said they all still would rather have Wentz than Dak even when he was in the middle of his Rookie of the Year season.

But I have 100% evidence that every GM in the NFL won’t start Tyrod. 1>0.

Did you just bring up Wentz over Dak? Are you new here?

If Dak is better than Taylor, then make your case. I don't see it at all. They look like the same guy. They are both darlings of ESPN's QBR (both have 2 top 10 finishes in their last 3 seasons starting) but the two are dead last in pass attempts over the same window. Taylor is a better deep thrower, one of the best in the league actually, but is not as good at short and intermediate as Dak. Dak has thrown the ball a little bit more and Taylor has rushed the ball a little bit more. They both have had extremely low usage and paltry passing totals compared to other QBs and played on run dominated teams. Both are sacked a lot.
There is zero evidence that Dak is better than Tyrod Taylor.

Like Tebow is the same guy right? Romo fan boy just can’t stop talking about Dak, I bet you wake up every morning in your #9 pj’s and throw darts at Dak while desperately waiting to see Romo sketcher commercials on TV.

So you add season one QBR, divide it by 42, then what do you do next? How do you get that career QBR average? Don't run away, I'd really like to know...

There have been two things you’ve apparently missed out on during this thread. Firstly, Im happy someone hasn’t clued you in on who I am, as that would take the fun out of it. Secondly, anything with a quantifiable value can be averaged. That’s how numbers work. You can kick and scream all you want, but that doesn’t change anything. On average, Dak has had a QBR superior to Tyrod’s breakout season. Ergo, his average is better than Tyrod’s. See? I didn’t even have to come up with a number.

Now, for my question: why did you bring up Wentz? Dak is the best qb out of the 2016 draft by far.

Just curious. If you were the GM, would anyone else consider Tyrod Taylor from the Browns if you could get him for 12-15 million per year? You could use the extra cap space to stack talent around him and load up of defense. Or, would you simply pay the cost for Dak? This is not a Dak bashing post. Just wondering what your thoughts are.
Tyrod makes Dak look like Joe Montana. Seriously, he's beyond awful.

Nobody told me who you were, but hopefully it's not a math teacher, geez. Uh no, that isn't how it works... and since you're too lazy to read the information on QBR, the most damning evidence against you is the nice blank spot listed on the career QBR line for all QBs on ESPN's site. It is ok to say that you were wrong... I have done it a million times on here.

I didn't "bring up" Wentz, I was just citing an example of how I have never read actual GMs say much good about Dak, with most of them saying he's just a product of his surroundings.

You think Dak is better than Goff?

Of course not. This guy thinks I’m a cowboys fan so I’m playing with him. I’ve been touting Dak for an hour and he’s just been eating it up!

‘Dak slobberer’

Haha. At this point he probably wishes he was arguing with a math teacher.

Dak bests Tyrod in td’s, completion pct, ypa, qbr, quarterback rating-first, second, third and fourth quarters, ypg, tight window throws, rushing yds, rushing td’s, game winning drives, wins.....but hey Tyrod throws a nice deep ball.

No no, clearly Tyrod is Dak’s equal because... he played for 2 bad football teams that made him into a bad qb and that’s not fair? I think that’s the gist of it.

He'd be a good insurance policy if we we can't resign dak.

You brought up Wentz by LITERALLY SAYING THE NAME WENTZ. That is bringing up Wentz.

Are you being intentionally obtuse? The point wasn't Wentz, it was the gm commentary on Dak. Do you want me to find a different tweet?

You enacted the Godwin’s law of Dak Prescott. I could find you a tweet saying Carson freaking Wentz is better than Tyrod Taylor, but that won’t prove anything in Dak vs Cleveland backup QB.

Would you take Carson Wentz in a straight up trade for Dak Prescott, yes or no.

Dallas was a bad football team to begin this year and last. That was probably the worst set of receivers in football and an oline that was horse crap.
I also wonder how that survey between Dak and Wentz goes now???

lol, I'm still confused. Are you just asking me this independently of everything we've been talking about?
