Boy howdy! ~17 more years at most and counting.

Yes sir, 7 or 17 for me. Although I dream of 20 and gone, so 7 seems likely lol. Love the work, hate the politics and the beat downs are harder to recover from as I get older. Its a youngsters game.

You got that right, hypothetically could be 4 to put me at 20 and gone but that won’t happen. Like you said, love it, but unfortunately I’m stuck with it for another ~14 minimum but probably longer. Ugh.

There doesn’t seem to be much foundation for this story, but even if it were to come to pass I don’t understand the fans saying Wilson in NY eliminates any hope the Cowboys have for succcess. The Giants are 8-24 over the last 2 seasons, and only have one winning record the last 6 years. Wilson would be a clear upgrade for NY, but there are issues with NY that go beyond the QB position.

Kind of what I was thinking. It takes more than simply swapping QBs.

Here we go again, comparing a 3 season QB to that of a 7 year QB. Your Prescott hate knows no bounds.
*Note* The above is not trashing by the way.
To be fair by season 3 Russel had 2 Super Bowls, 3 pro bowls, and a ring to his name

When is the last time you saw a franchise QB in his prime traded? Almost never. Teams tend to hold on to their franchise QB's because they are not that easy to come by. Before you start listing a bunch of examples, let me remind you of the key words - franchise QB in his prime-. Not before his prime or after his prime, IN HIS PRIME.

Pure speculation.

Not even reading tea leaves. Total guesswork by Cowherd.
But it is fun to discuss. Just how he arrived at that conclusion or even speculation looks like some intern with an assignment, "find me something crazy to talk about, I am bored".

Why not? Prescott certainly gets that treatment.
Lol, so you're a "2 wrongs make a right" kind of guy? That makes a metric crap ton of sense now.
If only you were a "take your ball and go home" kind of guy.

If this is true we can kiss our dreams of winning anything goodbye.:(

Wilson puts up prime 2014 Tony Romo numbers with the worst o-line in the league and 5’9 undrafted receivers.

If he gets Odell freaking Beckham, a decent o-line and an elite RB?

Hopefully this is just a rumor :facepalm:
Wishful thinking by the Gints. Wilson is not going anywhere. Slow news day in the New York sports media.

Ms Wilson is tired of living in Seattle. She wants to resume her career
Not sure they are in Seattle much in the offseason. It’s not like they can’t afford multiple homes in multiple locations. She can hate Seattle all she wants, he is under contract in Seattle.

Plus he is part of a group that wants to bring the NBA back to Seattle, and a part of another that wants to bring a MLB team to Portland.

They are in Seattle most of the time cause all QB's spend the most time in the city they are playing for.

The contracts these QBs are getting is about to get crazier, and trading a Top guy is the only way a team can replicate anything close to "The Hershel Walker Trade". I can see the potential for a deal, just don't it happens this year.

Speculation in this article is on par with what we see here on The Zone.....
Yeah but ain't it fun? Until Kraft gave us that little off season nugget yesterday, we were running on empty. The sports talk hosts suffer from the same lack of real stuff to talk about that we do and is hardly ever held responsible for when they're out there on a limb and falling.

That's why I like the off season here better than during the real season. More opportunity to make stuff up and argue about it. It doesn't get any better than debating stories lacking substance, we're all allowed to go freestyle and off the rails then.
