B/R: Nick Foles Won't Be Franchise-Tagged by Eagles; Will Enter Free Agency

Next season could be filled with a lot of Quarterback woes in the NFC East. And ironically the cowboys might have the best QB in the East.

Dallas: Dak
Gnats: Eli or replacement
Egals: An injury prone Wentz who isn't the same since the injury.
Skins: Colt Mccoy

Isn't the same since the injury? His accuracy jumped almost 10%, did you know he was clipping 70% last year? 21 TDs in 11 starts to only 7 interceptions. Better yards per attempt than 2017, way better accuracy, better yards per game, same INT %, higher qb rating.

Are you just wishful thinking?

Well I'm thinking he isn't going to be the mobile threat he was before. Or with his injury prone history, I don't think you want him to be.

Well it remains to be seen. Personally, I think Philly got rid of the wrong quarterback.

I felt the same way about Dallas. But you have to let it play out. Nick is likely going to a Florida team and won't be what he was here.

But for Carson, It's easy to write narratives that make things look differently than they were. Carson has had injuries each of the last 2 years, but the one this year didn't put him on IR. He missed some games and could have come back if they needed him too, maybe even in the divisional round had nick been injured. Carson was coming off of the definitive major injury in the NFL this year. Next year he won't be, it'll make a difference I believe. 1 training camp in 3 years isn't great for your young starting QB.

Somebody will over pay Nick and he will underperform....

The one I’m worried about for nick is Jacksonville. They lost their 2 best receivers & franchise best TE last year and didn’t replace them very well. They’re probably going to lose Yeldon this offseason, and who knows what they’ll get out of Fournette. Not a great situation to walk into.

Not exactly a change. The Cowboys have had the best QB in the East for the better part of the last 30 years.

Jerry give the millions to Foles or else you will go to the man in the sky without another Superbowl ring!!!

The dude has been injured in every season of football he has played in since college.
Broken arm in college. He was sitting on the bench watching his backup take North dakota to the national championship.
Then he was sitting on the bench watching Foles take the eagles to a SB victory.
The best thing about Wentz is his teams seem to play better when he isnt in the game.
