And he's making 5 million dollars which would have probably paid for a younger Tyler Eifert who is a better player then him at this point.

It's not a bad move bringing Witten back but it does nothing. Dallas should've looked for a more dynamic player but they just went with an old guy that can't stretch the defense out.
Eifert isn't a better player on the trainer's table and watching from the sidelines. Even so, I was okay with the idea of Eifert because Jarwin and Schultz came on the last 4-5 games of 2018, so I felt even if Eifert got hurt we still would have guys that can play. I'm also good with Witten as long as he is more of a role player and not the featured TE. Let's hope the Cowboys are thinking that way. According to reports Witten is willing to accept that.

I think this is a way of saving face from his MNF disaster. It is a graceful way of exiting the booth without being fired. He'll be more like a TE coach.

Who cares about the snap count? This return means the team will not address TE this offseason. We're going into next season with the same garbage group of TEs that we had last year with the addition of the declining relic religious figure from the year before. This is how your team has addressed one of it's biggest needs. Blake Jarwin "has a really bright future" and Jason Witten's back.

I'd rather have the upside over the 3 yards and a cloud of dust Witten.

He looked old and slow and almost done 2 years ago. Now he is 2 years older, and probably out of football shape. Great.
slow is right.Only good thing is he can serve as a coach on the field for the Gallups of the world. Its a good thing.

Yeah really weird.

I guess this means we don't need a TE anymore. God's back.

Whether you like me or hate me, I say to you that you all deserve a series of Super Bowl titles for remaining loyal and faithfully following this team.

We should have a spot on the ROH for going through all this crap the last 25 years.

Shut up

Can we please bring Romo back..? Like for real... We can always go back to Dak if he gets injured.
