Eifert isn't a better player on the trainer's table and watching from the sidelines. Even so, I was okay with the idea of Eifert because Jarwin and Schultz came on the last 4-5 games of 2018, so I felt even if Eifert got hurt we still would have guys that can play. I'm also good with Witten as long as he is more of a role player and not the featured TE. Let's hope the Cowboys are thinking that way. According to reports Witten is willing to accept that. And he's making 5 million dollars which would have probably paid for a younger Tyler Eifert who is a better player then him at this point.
It's not a bad move bringing Witten back but it does nothing. Dallas should've looked for a more dynamic player but they just went with an old guy that can't stretch the defense out.
