What logical evidence have you seen that tells you the team won’t pay this man 28+?
Stop believing what you want to happen and actually use some critical thinking skills to see what will happen. Reality is going to hit some of you like a truck and you’re gonna be blowing up this forum with “We overpayed Dak” threads. Just accept it now and make it easier on yourselves, sheesh.
Jerry’s TOTALLY all-in on Dak...so lemme see here...
6yrs / $180mil (4yrs / $120mil guaranteed)...book it!
“How ya like us now, Kirk Cousins?”
Exactly the point D.Look, yes you need some talent to throw the ball to but, what and who does Brady have??? Good QB's throw WR's open and find the seams to hit the target.
Dak is marginal because his accuracy and mechanics are severely lacking at this point. Will Dak ever be in the class of Brady or Brees? doubt it!
Lol if you think I'm the open market he wouldn't get 28m at least, you haven't been paying attention to how NFL contracts work . This is Romo all over again . People freaking out over his and saying no one would give him that except us. Lol not even close to true.People here have no control over what team management decides to do. We only make predictions based on the situation. Also keep in mind that there has to be a market to get market value. You tell me what teams are in the market for a starting qb, then take two of them away because they'll probably get one in the draft.
What logical evidence do I have to not pay him 28m+ besides what i already mentioned? Transition tag him. It's no more complicated than that. All Dallas has to do is match highest offer. And guess what? No way on this God's green earth is a team offering him that.
I live in the real world,.I dont blindly root for players who happen to be CowboysI find it humorous that you hate your team's QB so much that you selectively include and exclude stats to paint a picture you want to see.
Go take your butt to the Eagles' board and root for Wentz.
Again man it’s simple. You: He will get $25m because of Aaron Rodgers and Matt Ryan.
Me: He won't get that much because of actual comps and the franchise amount.
You: Emotional nonsense and repeat self without acknowledging rebuttals.
You're boring. If nothing new last word is yours.
Oh the season where a 35 yo TE and a double teamed slot WR were your targets? You must have slept through 17 and he threw more to just Thompson.
I thought they paid him all that money to get to the superbowl? They didn't even make the playoffs. At some point the money has to count for something. You don't get payed that mutch to just play. They could have paid me 1 millon and i would have helped them NOT get to the playoffs.Doesn't hurt Dak's agent's argument at all. I have no argument on this subject.
The market might set it but, the FO doesn't have to pay it for a marginal QB at best.
Like it or not like it Cousins reset the market for QB's. So as much as we can say he sucks and did nothing to deserve the contract; his accomplishments no matter how good or bad is the benchmark for starting QB's. Those facts means that Dak is a 25-30 million dollar QB. It is what it is.I thought they paid him all that money to get to the superbowl? They didn't even make the playoffs. Whatever his market value is, he's under contract for 2mil this year, with his pay for play bounce from the league.
Extend his contract 1 year for the franchise tag price, splitting the tag price plus 2mil over two years.

Dak will get at least 25m. People throw out this 20m and I have no clue where they are getting that number from.
