Everyone on her criticizing this guy and I applaud him for chasing after the right green (and I don’t even smoke). It’s an absolute joke that this guys career has been halted by something that is 100% proven safer than the pills the political NFL doctors perscibe their employees. There is an agenda, everything surrounding the NFL is controlled and there is an agenda. Good for him to standing up against this political monster.

He may have made his point, but this was embarrassing for the league. They will never make it legal now.

I had to quit when I joined the Air National Guard who payed for all my college (I just couldn't refuse those benefits) ; I don't see why a player can't quit for a few years and have a good career and millions of dollars. I guess it was just too much to ask. When it comes to the NFL, rules are rules plain and simple; you don't make your own rules.

He should have just used PEDs. That’s only a 4-game suspension and you return to hero status when it’s over.

I can see him in a prison uniform soon......... He's gonna have to turn to robbing banks and liquor stores to make a living. Or maybe he has dreams of being the US version of Escobar and El Chapo.

Im also wondering why he never recovered from his concussion and if being stoned had something to do with it. I also read somewhere he could not play a full game for KC being too tired or winded but I can't find that article though. Pot has a big effect on the lungs and the lack of ability to have stamina although with vigorous strenuous conditioning can be overcome somewhat..

When a team pays big money for a player, they invest in that player. Teams also want to get the best investment for their money spent.

They say a fool and his money are soon parted! He is a complete immature child who is having a fit over the rules in the NFL. One day he will realize how stupid he looks.

He is a millionaire as it stands right now. Lets hope he spends his money wisely and makes it last.

"Standing up" actually takes work, and effort. David Irving isn't doing any of that. Don't get it twisted.

He's putting forth zero effort and simply doing what comes easiest for him. He's being lazy. What effort does it take to not show up for a drug test? It's like applauding someone for sleeping in and not going to school.

If Irving was actually putting forth any effort to try to get rules changed? Yeah, applaud him then. But he's not.

To think a good amount of fans were wonder how the team was going to pay Irving and D-Law this offseason last year at this time.

Dude could of been signing a 10+mil a year contract this offseason if his head was in the right spot.
