Every benchmark the anti-Dak crowd has set on this board has been soundly refuted with stats. After each game that he threw for X yards it was then Y yards. The last Giants game doesn't count because it was another preseason game. If you remove Cooper's YAC then he only threw Z amount of yards. Or that is an outlier therefore it doesn't count. Now there is "the eye test" to determine all. It's ridiculous.
Yep. The good ole eye test is the go to now. The yac one always cracks me up. It was a go to after the wash game. We even had one that wouldn't even give Cooper credit and blamed it on bad tacking by wash. I always wonder do they take yac away from other qbs when watching them.

You do realize there are better games that would fit your narrative than the rams game. I saw a rams offense that game planned for our D and walked all over them. That was the ultimate team loss . That game wasn't even one of daks 5 worst games of the year.
Yet the score was close the entire game and had Dak stepped up and played like a top tier, 30 million dollar QB In the second and third quarters the game was there to be won.

But he didn't. He played decidedly average, making a few plays and not making many more that were there to be made.

Just like he did all season. This time Zeke and the defense couldn't carry the load for him.

Yes because even the elite qbs with 10+ years experience always steps up and make plays .

How do they know that? Does Jerrah's past track record gives you confidence? Does Jerrah saying dumb things that gives Dak's side leverage in negotiations give you confidence? Does our past track record for overpaying players and being in Salary Cap Hell give you that?
They can have a meeting and make a decision. It's not as difficult as you make it. LOL

Actually, we wouldn’t be talking about $20M. There’s a pretty defined range for what franchise QBs get ( whether you want to call him one or not, that’s what the organization thinks) and you’re basically negotiating on where in the spectrum the deal is going to land and how much guaranteed money.

Actually, we are. The Cowboys can play out this year and tag him for two following years and it would cost in the range of $20 million over those three years. But these dopes would rather run up check in hand and overpay, for the sake of feelings and being liked.

It's what the Joneses do, and it a big part of why they fail.

I mean, he did get us as far in the playoffs as we’ve been in a long time.

1 game? Far short of "Super Bowl", but it's clear you're reaching hard at every turn here.

Come on now, @stasheroo, I bet you weren't complaining the 2 times Romo got his 2 big contract extensions?

Actually, reality just showed. I mentioned tagging him several times, which is every team's right.
Reality is that you're wrong because that is never going to happen. No way would the Cowboys disrespect their young franchise QB that way by tagging him after forcing him to play out his last rookie deal year, especially after everything Dak has accomplished in his first 3 years which is a Cowboys franchise rookie stats record. Like Jerry and Stephen have repeatedly been saying, a new longterm contract for Dak is coming this year. Accept it already.

I never said that's what these clowns would do, im saying it's what they should do. Nobody's making a prediction Nostradamus.

You accept stupid decisions all you like, I'll call stupid for what it is.
