27m for 85tds(28 per year), 9 4th qt come backs(3 per year), 15 game winning drives(5 per year) , 32 wins(10.5) a year, 2 division titles and a playoff win in 3 years.

How can you give Dak credit for 4th qtr comebacks, game winning drives, wins, division titles and playoff wins? What am I missing here?

It’s because the stats involved with actually throwing a football don’t look nearly as good...

Yeah. That last post sure looked that way.

Care to tell us how well franchising a QB 2 years in a row has worked out in the past?

And to say you’re about as smart as Daniel Snyder when he’s the only GM to have ever used the franchise tag on a QB 2 years in a row is pretty logical, if you ask me.

yeah sure. People don't know what they are talking about, when they disagree with you, the guy who has self proclaimed to have always guessed the right moves the cowboys should have done, but doesn't have people acknowledge so, or even remember so on this board.
I was on the old boards. Ask the Romoholics/Romosexuals. ;):D

Something to ponder. If Dak were viewed by anyone in media as being an upper tier QB, they would reference him constantly. They would do film breakdown showing his command of the offense and pinpoint passing. In reality, when they are forced to address his abilities as a passer, they dance around the questions and try not to outright bash him.

He may get paid high $, but the majority of people understand where his talent ranks him.
Kurt Warner is always praising Dak and his on-the-field decisions. There are several others as well.

Nobody has seen the details of Dak’s contract yet. Nobody knows what the final numbers are and how long it will effectively lock Dak in for without being able to be cut or traded.

Yeah, that's why he has led the league in tight window throws accuracy 2 out of the 3 years he's been in the league. Plus, he's had several other stats that place him among the top 10 QBs every year.

Tight window throws is not a real statistic, and what does it mean anyway? Also your cluelessness is on full display because you think that’s a good thing, when in fact it means he is unable to see the open receivers and is constantly checking it down to receivers in the crowded area of the field.

it is only what stephen jones thinks in regards to signing dak that matters. nothing any of us says or thinks about the issue will affect one iota what will happen. but it does make for some very entertaining reading. where I see logic, others see illogic. where I see illogic, others see logic. but one thing is abundantly clear and that is dak is going to be our qb whether any of us likes it or not.

The devil is in the details.

But paying a non-elite QB,elite QB money is going to be hilarious.

I like Dak quite a bit but I think you and I have different definitions of the word hilarious. FWIW I think his proper value is $23-25 million a year.
