He didn't JUST give his opinion on Romo, he made an accusation about Garrett. So no, it's not just "opinion".

And again, I can give you evidence on something we SEE rather than rumors from former players that they were complicit in this. I don't believe it because it doesn't fit their narrative about what we saw in the Jags and Packers game and then what we saw from that game on.

It had nothing to do with "scheme" it had to do with lack of effort and players not wanting to be there FOR Wade. Seems maybe these players are trying to scapegoat.
He actually DID just give his opinion about Romo. He used phrases like "I think" and "I believe" when discussing Romo.

He stated he saw Garrett sabotage and doubled down when asked if he really believed it.

So why are people upset about his opinion? We give ours here all the time and it only gets this dysfunctional when we discuss a QB...

Nevermind I almost forgot where I was.

https://1053thefan.radio.com/articl...-leadership-says-jason-garrett-sabotaged-wade

“Romo didn't have the it factor to make people around him better. I think when I was there he thought he was bigger than the team. It was like Romo and then the team. Like nobody in the locker room is really going to respect you like that. I really don't respect him as a player based on what he did to the team where a lot of people didn't see.”

"He was a great player and got all the numbers and stuff but I'll take Dak over Romo any day because Dak has the ability to make people around him better. You'll run through a wall for Dak but Romo, hell no."

When asked to clarify his remark about making people better, Hatcher went on to criticize Romo even more.

"Romo was feeling like he was a Brett Favre and I'm like 'dude, you ain't do nothing. What have you done? You got your own space that you leave ... don't come in the locker room an interact with your teammates, but you call yourself a leader? Nah, partner. It don't work like that.'

Hatcher was asked about what happened around the time the Cowboys fired Phillips and if the team quit on him?

"Let me tell you something. I'm going to tell you the truth. I saw Jason Garrett sabotage this man."

When asked if Hatcher believed that he said, "absolutely."

"We ran three plays three freakin plays (before Wade was fired). I don't care what the media say. We was flying around. We was out of pads in week 7 (in 2009). We was beating people's heads in. Now we go into camp cupcake (in 2010) and do what Wade don't want to do. We get in pads, we beat each other down. We tired, we not fresh. And then you go and call three or four plays (Garrett on offense) till this man gets fired."
I could buy the fact Romo didn’t interact with the team except Witten and a few close friends but I’m certainly not buying he didn’t make other players better. And if Dak made others players better the Cowboys wouldn’t have had to run out and get Cooper. Romo also never had a back like Zeke either. If anything Zeke makes Dak better.

Stopped reading after first sentence

Patrick Crayton
Miles Austin
Laurent Robinson
Jesse Holley

Say otherwise

It’s about leadership-Romo was not a leader, that is precisely why he couldn’t win and the chemistry was always a problem during his years. You Romo’s will never admit it, but it is plain as day. Talented player, garbage leader.

Hatcher talks a lot.

Hatcher hated:
Romo
Witten
Frederick
Free
Sean Lee
Jeff Heath
Beasley - But gave him a pass.
Escobar
Dan Bailey
Chris Jones
LP
Nick Hayden
Jon Kitna
Kyle Orton

Hatcher says both Dak and Jameill Showers are better than Romo.

Hatcher loved:
TO
Jay Ratliff
Scandrick
Canty
Patrick Crayton
Alex Barron
Morris Claiborne
Bradie James

Yep, it's all there in black and white.

2nd confirmation on Garrett sabotage. It’s now confirmed. Idgit time to fess up.....and it’s more proof of what was said by some about dak vs romo. Romo simply didn’t have “it” and dak has it in Spaids.

Thanks for playing.

You as dumb as Hatcher, Hatcher and his defense sabotaged Wade, Garrett offense did it's part in 5 of the first 8 games before Wade was fired, the offense put up, 20,27,27,21,35 points . The ignorance is amazing.

Murray ran for 1800 yards for romo.

....so you admit he made a claim in this, and still saying he "just" gave an opinion? Stating a now HC had a nefarious plan is not just an "opinion" - it's an accusation and one that is baseless.

I never stated what he said about Romo wasn't an opinion, I stated he didn't just give an opinion because he didn't.

The example he gave about Dak making people around him better really makes it appear he may have meant inspired instead? I don't know sometimes people misspeak and use the wrong terminology then we get to go 100 pages on it.

FUN!!!!

I recall that, but I also recall it occurred after the 2006 season and the playoff game with the greased up football. To me, that was when the change occurred.

Just my two nickels, when he was just a guy trying to make the roster and come up, he probably was hanging out with more of the guys on the same grind and was cool with everybody. When he became the QB1, he tightened up his circle. Which is kinda to be expected.
Nah im talking bout when Marcus Spears brought it up. He didnt say anything negative, just said Romo normally would workout on his own, and wouldnt be around normally when the team would socialize. To Romos defense thats about the time he started building his family. But like Htahcer said there was stuff going on that the outside didnt see. I just see Woodson and Hatcher saying the same things and that leads me to be there was things going on behind the scenes.

I still wouldn’t compare Murray to Zeke, would you? Romo put up numbers without Murray running for 1,800 yards as well.

Why not? Zeke will be trying all his life to run for 1800 yards. Hell of a season.

Before Murray, romo was in an 80% pass happy offense where he threw the ball 40-50 times a game with a generally bad defense. Had great pass catchers also.

so not even into his 2nd full year of starting and you knew he was the guy? Just wondering what you thought of Dak after his abysmal 2nd year and average 3rd year?

Yup I knew Romo wasn't going to win jack! Don't get my wrong, his first two years I thought he was the man. But after 2018 I just saw something in him I didnt like. With Dak I feel he will win a SB. He's young and learning how to win. Each year he is doing more and more.

I never stated what he said about Romo wasn't an opinion, I stated he didn't just give an opinion because he didn't.
You should reread my post. I clearly stated he gave an opinion on Romo.

Then he made a statement about Garrett.

So when I asked about his opinion which part do you think I was referring too?

Edit: yes you said he didn't just give an opinion. Too bad he did give an opinion and also made a statement. It is possible to do both especially when each one relates to two different individuals.
