Hatcher was asked about what happened around the time the Cowboys fired Phillips and if the team quit on him?

"Let me tell you something. I'm going to tell you the truth. I saw Jason Garrett sabotage this man."

When asked if Hatcher believed that he said, "absolutely."

"We ran three plays three freakin plays (before Wade was fired). I don't care what the media say. We was flying around. We was out of pads in week 7 (in 2009). We was beating people's heads in. Now we go into camp cupcake (in 2010) and do what Wade don't want to do. We get in pads, we beat each other down. We tired, we not fresh. And then you go and call three or four plays (Garrett on offense) till this man gets fired."

Well so here's the dilemma I'm sure for pro-Romo guys here. They hate Garrett so they agree with Hatcher about Garrett sabotaging Wade....but hate Dak and love Romo so much that they will call him a liar about his remarks on Romo.

Finally someone far enough from the organization to tell he truth about the situation that's not TO.

Did Tony make the team better in 2006 when he took over for Bledsoe?

Tony sent linemen to pro bowls by replacing The Statue. He made the team relevant. He had Williams at 17 yards per reception. Escobar in the teens. I saw Escobar playing in that new league the other weekend. Everybody's productivity collapsed after Tony left. Dez. Witten.

And I still wonder if Tony was the one making the game plans in 2016, as Butler seemed to suggest.

The "it" factor is "I like his personality", so I think that makes him a better player, and I'll ignore the facts.

See what? It's a dumb theory, when Wade was fired his defense sucked, what did Garrett have to do with that? The offense was actually putting points on the boards at the same time, how is that sabotage ? The fact the defense actually played better under the linebackers coach is all you need to know. So if Hatcher is lying about Garrett, why should we believe anything he says about the team playing for Dak and not Romo?

I believe him. Dak's intangibles and leadership skills are pretty much top notch. There's a lot to knock about his game but he's pretty much what you'd want in a prototypical leader and I never thought that Romo was that type of guy.

Then if he is telling the truth about Romo, he must be telling the truth about Garrett as well.

He sabotaged Wade to steal the HC job from him.

You cant say he is telling the truth about Dak and then lying in the same sentence about Garrett.

This should be an interesting thread. This is what I remember about Jason Hatcher, fool running around after making a play he was paid well to make then rubbing his thumb and forefinger together in a "show me the money" way. In a contract year. Yep, he had a break out year in his contract year folks! Took the money and joined the Skins and did NOTHING. The peeps who will like this are the JG and Romo haters. Haters gotta hate and Hatcher was a turd!

I distinctly remember Anthony Spencer coming out and admitting that "I dogged it" in 2010. He was the only one with the brass balls to admit it. We hated him for his admissions and most fans, as I recall, disliked Phillips as a HC and Spencer as a player. Heck, Phillips drafted Spence and we hated him for that. Hatcher is worse than a turd, he's the toilet paper and should be the butt wipe of jokes not the truthsayer.

I have zero respect for players who have career years in their contract year. That was Hatcher. We shouldn't talk about the shooter who guns down 30 people or mention the name to boost his TV ratings and give him credibility. Likewise with Hatcher
