It increases our depth options, so that's not bad. It doesn't give us the bell-cow 3-tech that this defense needs, so that's not good. We're heading down the path where Lawrence will be our only consistent line threat again (Gregory was coming on in that regard), and most fans will ignorantly blame him for not making more plays when he's drawing extra attention from offenses because they are not overly worried about the rest of our line.

good signing but they should have signed him for atleast a 2 year deal.

It's likely extremely cheap and he wanted a prove it deal to make more. Probably a 3T imo. Sort of like moving Hatcher and Irving to 3T
