Not a big one, no. But the way it was built up in that first trailer, I expected it to be something more than the throwaway it ended up being.

Any suspense there may have been in the film is now gone, however small it likely was.

Lol
You are tough

“End Game” is synonymous with “suspense” for me. IMO.

Another note: I remember when it was gonna be Infinity War part 1... then sequel Infinity War part 2. Then changing it to sequel by different name = That right there was genius.

This is all speculation on my part but...

If you are not a Marvel comic book fan and are just a regular movie fan who thought Avengers: Infinity War was great...

Well...

You ain't seen nuthin' yet.

The group does not go by the name The Avengers simply because it sounds good. Congrats Marvel and Disney. Like someone already said earlier. Goosebumps.

I assume you meant to say Avengers: Infinity War?

This is the movie that will cement the group's name in the MCU.

The group came together to defend New York and the planet from the Chitauri.

They defended the Earth against Ultron's armageddon scheme.

They and Wakanda defended the planet against Thanos attack.

This time will be different. Like Tony Stark told Loki in the first movie:

'If we cannot protect the Earth, you can be damn sure we will avenge it."

Buckle up folks. The Avengers are finally going on the offensive.

Goosebumps.

I didn't watch the trailer. I already want to see it, so why watch spoilers? I'll almost always watch 1 and only 1 trailer/teaser for a movie

It was actually as spoiler free as you can get. I didn't even realize Stark was shown to be ok until some mentioned it above.

I'm excited to see it.

I was not surprised seeing Stark with the group in the trailer but I now started wondering if my assumption for why he is okay was wrong. I am not fully versed in the current Captain Marvel's powers and made my assumption based on her character's predecessor. Anyone interested in my nerd thought on seeing Stark as okay in the trailer (AND ANYONE WHO HAS ALREADY SEEN THE CM MOVIE!) can click the spoiler link below--even though it is not technically a spoiler since I have not seen the upcoming movie yet. :muttley:

One of the original Captain Marvel's powers was cosmic awareness. Mar-vell had the literal ability to sense things happening in the universe. It was a power that usually made him perceptive on a subliminal level BUT he could expand his awareness to detect the location of things and individuals in space.

I may be wrong but we see Danvers leading the Skrull expedition to their new homeworld at the end of her movie. Yes, she had the spatial coordinates for their new planet but it would be necessary to 'know' what obstacles are directly ahead of her flight plan in order to avoid collisions. For this reason, I think Carol also has cosmic awareness.

If true, it would not surprise me if she uses her power to locate Stark, fly to him (yes she can fly that fast), rescue him and return him back to Earth. Just a guess but it is a thought I have had since seeing the very first Avengers: Endgame trailer last year. After all, he must rejoin the group somehow, right? :p Then again, I will not be disappointed if I guessed wrong about her power and how Stark ends up safe-and-sound.

Two things: One, we see Stark in a beat up ship, in space.

Two, the pager would seem to go against your theory.

My theory is that she gave them a lift passing by on her way answering Fury’s pager.
Space is unimaginably vast.

Before the credits roll, we see Captain Marvel fly off into limitless space.

In Avengers: Infinity War, Fury actives CM's pager then gets dusted.

Danvers responds to Fury's pager. Starts flying back to Earth from somewhere in the Milky Way or even another entirely different galaxy altogether. The range on her pager is pretty darn far after all.

Hypothetically, Danvers encounters Stark in route while responding to Fury's emergency page.

Anything is plausible. Case in point:

The Asgardians sent out a distress call that the Guardians of the Galaxy answered and rescued Thor.

The teasers have shown Stark tinkering with this armor. He could have been creating a distress signal of his own design.

Maybe Danvers answered it on her way to find Fury? Not an original idea of course but entirely possible. Maybe...

...Nebula comes to Tony's aid instead? That would fit more to me if Danvers is not involved given what has been shown in the CM post credit scene and all A:E trailers thus far in my opinion.

Honestly, I am even more eager now to see the movie than before. So many questions. Good stuff.

Nebula and Tony were the last two together on Titan. I think they left together on that ship.

Kevin Feige and Marvel are tricky mofo's. They show and tell then bait and switch so much. Remember the money shot for The Infinity War trailer that showed Hulk and all The Avengers charging? They put that in there on purpose to mislead us. It wasn't just a cut shot.

Who the damn hell knows what's in store with this movie....just buckle up and do whatever.it. takes to experience it!
