I don't seek other fans approval. I come here and tell it like I see it and those who choose to see it different fine. I also like good debate about this team and the NFL in general. I have been called a Homer and a hater at different times on different subject. I have like moves this team has made and said so and I have disagreed with this team and have said so. Bigger picture right now I like what McClay has done and I do think who Jerry hires and listens to is critical to this team. As Parcells said Jerry will listen and he will take advice, Parcells said he did like coaching for Jerry because it is not just about the money for Jerry he does want to win in the worse way. Now of course many here will say if he wants to win then he need to fire Garrett or step down and while I understand that feeling and to an extent agree with it. I do think this is a very big year for Garrett one that will likely determine his future with this organization. If he fails then Jerry should fire him but if he can give this team a legit chance at winning the SB this season then I have no issue backing Garrett
Jason Garrett. I don't want to replace him with someone else's fired leftover coach that the league already scrutinized. I want a young new startup trying to make a name for himself. But that comes with its own set of issues 2-minute warning you can't teach that only experience.

OK, I guess I don't much care about whether they are or not either as it doesn't matter.
I'm curious why did you even reply then? And the only reason why I'm replying to everyone's post it because I own the initial thread I think it matters greatly the camaraderie alone. This team can grow together. As long as we can play the numbers right. So it means a lot to me actually

I just want to win. I have no personal issues with Garrett and have seen this team fight hard under him. However the nature of the business is winning. Jason has been given ample time to do that and while they have had season that have exceeded expectation such as the 2016 season with Romo out and a 4th rd rookie QB and Rookie RB leading the way this team did what no one gave a snowball chance in hell of winning and posting the season they did at 13-3. I think that saved Garrett job. But he has also had teams who entered the season with high expectation and has failed like what we saw in 2017. I think this is his last stand and I hope he can get it done, if not I will not shed a tear over it.

No disrespect intended then if it means a lot to you. I don't see the value that you seem to. Money and lack thereof is what will determine whether or not these players "grow together", make no mistake about that.

If they replace Jason I don't have an issue with that also. My issue would be with who. I don't want Sean Payton. I don't want a leftover fired coach that was my point. The love Tom Landry the class. The innovation of the flex defense. But after a while it's a copycat League. What makes a great coach is having a locker rooms Trust. So I say until he loses the locker room. I will support him also. I'm positive many want a championship or goodbye. Sometimes it takes make more than great coaching and good players. The way this league is today I think it takes a little bit of luck also. And I don't enjoy saying that

I just feel it would be impolite not to respond to someone who posted to my thread. I appreciate the honesty

It is so much easier responding to other people's posts than having your own this is too much work LOL

and these young players had nothing to do with 20 of those years. This is a young team who has seen some early success in their careers, clearly they want more and will have their chance. Hell we have guys were not born since the last SB win.

More money?

Yes let's get rid of Jason Garrett. He was up for Coach of the Year just three seasons ago. I believe in continuity. I can't wait to see what the new offense of coordinator has in store. I love that the future brings for this young team. Yep I'm enjoying the ride go Cowboys. When you have been a fan as long as I have you go through the ups and downs. I live through 1 and 15 seasons. I definitely see a difference in this team. You don't your prerogative
Wow now you're talking 2016...the same coach who had the blueprint on how to beat the pack from earlier in the season but couldn't have his team prepared with home field advantage...awesome!

What makes you think they weren't prepared. Byron Jones he gets one foot deeper in pass coverage we win that game
And that's all you took away from that entire content

I'll take football players any day over money Players. Although I do understand you need a few veterans on your team. What do you bring here

It's been a while, but Gil Brandt had a tweet and Cleveland, Jax were younger than us and we were tied with Minn. for 3rd. Still a young team...but not the youngest.
Youngest to make the playoffs last year.

Making it to the second round of the playoffs. That's an accomplishment for me . Right there in itself. Come for the ride you might just like it. Go Cowboys.
:muttley::laugh::lmao2:

Meanwhile, the #1 excuse given by Jerry Jones for sticking with Jason Garrett and JG’s slightly-above-mediocre coaching staff has ALWAYS been and CONTINUES to be:

“We’re a really young team; be patient, it’s a process.”

Watched every game. I can tell you how I feel and if you feel different then fine that is you. You see nothing but bad and that is your right. I have seen this team winning the east 2 out of the last 3 years and adding very good people on this team. They have not achieved what we all want but I do see differences and I do see improvement. You don't have to agree with me that is your choice.
How did Sean Payton do last season. I seen the great Bill Belichick blow an AFC Championship I've seen more great coaches lose important games because poor decisions. Yep I'm a fan of Jason Garrett.

The difference is that they coach in important games. Nearly every year. Garrett is not good enough to even get the shot. Please don't compare Payton and the GOAT to Jason Garrett.
