This popped up in my youtube recommendations. He was pretty high on Olawale. Since we didn't use him last year (0 runs, 4 targets), maybe we'll see some of that magic this year.

Very talented FB
Very un talented coaching.
Total waste of talent,, its like buying a prime rib, , taking one bite, and throwing it in the trash.

Not sure if there is a coaching staff in the NFL that does less with the talent on the roster than Dallas.

The game is about exploiting mismatches— and we just don’t seem to understand how to use our guys to dictate problems for a defense and free up players to dominate

Yeah I was a little excited when we signed him. If I remember right he busted a couple long ones the year before. Instead our coaches decided to only play him in critical goal to go situations lol

We see this EVERY year with Garrett and Linehan. They bring some guys in during the offseason and we get excited to see what they are going to do with them and its never anything.

Last year it was Olowalli and Tavon Austin. Heard all this stuff about Tavon. They didn't do diddly with either of them. Key reason why anyone that says Garrett isn't a problem here, is blind. This is only ONE example of why he is a horrid football mind and a handicap with scheme, personnel use, and gameday management.

When the te-signed him recently it was reported that he get way more opportunities as a RB this season.

In the preseason last year I thought he looked better than Rod Smith as a runner and receiver.

Next year should be a mismatch all over the field. Can't wait. No reason we should not be a top 5 offense.

I was really shocked when we gave him the contract that we did. My hope is that Moore will be more creative in using him than Linehan was.

When you have a staff that has no idea how to scheme mismatches, how on earth do you propose to get a FB like this involved in the gameplan?

Maybe Moore changes that, but I'll believe it when I see it.

It was sad to see that so many of us judged him on that one TD pass he dropped last year. He's a far better receiver than what he showed there, imho. Anyhow, it's nice to hear that he'll likely see more use this year. I think most of us will be well pleased with the results. Nothing wrong with using all the talent that we have at our disposal. It'd be great to see him do well.

Gee, lets give the ball to the fullback!

We got over 2000 yards of total offense out of our top RB. Production at RB is not an issue

What he can add, if used correctly, is deception with your formations. Not many FBs allow a team to show power-I presnap and then motion either the RB or FB outside. You don't have to show it often, but a crucial 1st down every couple games to keep opposing defenses off balance is smart football.

Conversely, if you aren't going to use the versatility he possesses effectively, then you've downgraded from Keith Smith as a hat on hat run blocker.

I think he has talent that was way under utilized; however, the video narrator goes way over-board in claiming no LB can handle him and that he is similar to DeMarco Murray in his prime.

To Linehan, a FB was nothing more than a glorified guard, not a weapon.

We are going to find out if Moore is a Linehan disciple or a Petersen disciple. Let's hope its the later.
