Oh I don’t either. That’s why I think there’s s bigger issue when guys would rather smoke weed than play football. It’s more than them just being stupid IMO.
The money they make and could make in a short amount of time is stupid. Bust your behind for 5 years and retire and smoke all you want. Just don’t smoke when you know your about to get tested.

I'm an Indica guy myself but also just picked up a nice hybrid (65% Indica/35% Sativa) that I have high hopes for. (see what I did there?) But seriously, it's legal in Michigan now and I can get by on $100 a month or less. It's so damn potent that you only need a puff or two (literally) But yeah, I still take a low dose of anti-depressants but the cannabis really takes some of the side effects of the anti anxiety drugs away. (stomach discomfort/nausea, etc...)

Does the Michigan government tax it? Totally legal for use (not sell) in Canada. 18 and over. Sold through pot shops and taxed. The price went up once legalized. It's been decriminalized for an ounce or less of possession for years here. Can buy it on line

Or a week or two before the test if you're a chronic user. Ever been high? Man time stands still lol

Have you ever smoked weed and driven high? I have and there is no doubt in my mind that it slowed down my reaction time. Zero doubt. Yes, driving while drunk is worse BUT combine a drink and a joint. Maybe some react differently. I don't smoke weed anymore, it got too strong with all the breeding. In Canada, today, you can buy strains specific for needs. Isn't that wonderful. I'm wondering when the pot aisle will open up at the grocery store. It is certainly going to be available at some liquor outlets too. Big $$ for the government. same as big pharma hire lobbyists to lobby your senators. Follow the $$
I don’t drive under the influence of anything. Of course it affects you. I mean jeez, it’s just common sense.

I hate to see it but some of these kids. Especially the ones that know they are going to get drafted in high rounds have been coddled. Given a free ride in college. All the food they want, pretty much anything they want. Spoiled. Not saying all of them. But they know when they make the NFL them they are getting paid. Heck Elliot knew he was about to get paid and they had text messages on his phone where he was still panicking and sitting in the sauna trying to sweat himself clean.

The CFL doesn't even test for weed. PED's yes. When your federal government makes it legal all this testing BS for pot will go away. Not until. Yes it's legal in some states but the NFL can't have different rules for different teams in different states.

Me either, not anymore. Won't lie, I have. Never been pulled over, have gone through RIDE programs and blown a breathalyser. Common sense came late for me :)

Lol. Last time I just wanted it to be over. Got a little paranoid then laughed at the TV. Ate everything and woke up with chip crumbs and empty bag of Doritos on my chest.

I got the paranoia thing too. A big reason why I stopped. Used to have the occasional toke with friends but it was never a habit. I do smoke cigarettes, now that's addictive

Didn’t used to do that but quit for a few years and tried it again. The stuff was starting to get potent when I quit and it didn’t bother me but after cleaning out my system and my tolerance lowering then it hit me hard. And only took one hit. Still like the smell.

Weed is not a morality issue. Its a medical and coping issue. Its non addicting and harmless

It’s a myth that marijuana isn’t addictive.

Is Marijuana Really Addictive?

“Yes. Regular marijuana users are known to develop tolerance, dependence, and experience signs of withdrawal when they stop taking the drug. Many marijuana users develop compulsive patterns of problematic use—finding it difficult to stop using the drug, even when they want to do so. All of these features are hallmarks of addictive drugs.”

But why don’t they see it that way?

How many people paid attention to laws against drinking and driving when they were under 25 years old?

Very few that I knew thought they would get caught or have an accident from drinking and driving.

And unfortunately most of us when we were that young did some things that we shouldn’t have like that. One to many and got behind the wheel.

I’ve had no problem stopping so I’m not even sure I’d call it a addiction. But everyone is different. It may have different effects for other individuals especially ones that play a violent sport.
I'll take you at your word, but I hear that all the time from people on the Internet. People on the Internet seem to be immune to all the problems and consequences other people experience in real life.
I know many people who can't seem to put the weed down, which is the exact opposite of what people say on the Internet.
Be that as it may, you are correct. People are different. I don't believe everyone who smokes weed gets addicted, just like I don't believe everyone who drinks gets drunk. Some people - and I know a few of these people - have an incredible genetic capacity to drink, smoke cigarettes, eat unhealthy - and never experience the negative side effects of consequences of their action. But these cases are rare compared to the norm, which establishes why we're even talking about this issue. Shrug.

It can come down to if you have a addictive personality. If a person likes something then they will want to do it. Moderation is a easy word to throw around but hard to practice.
