Got to my first game at CBP last night. Sat 4th row from the field between the Phils dugout and RF. Awesome seats and game. They keep piling on the Nats early this season and I'm loving it haha. Off to a great start!

Nice! Speaking of piling up lol....

Good thing you didn't go last night (Wednesday) when they looked worse than The Bad News Bears. Hopefully they got their ONLY ugly game of the season out of their system. Mercy!

Some "breakout year" start for Pivetta. Honestly Roy, I believe you could of pitched better. Pretty bad when a team uses their center fielder like we did with Altherr for a closer and records two strikeouts in the 9th.

The offense looked PATHETIC too. Alrighty, I'm done balling lol. Quick question, what do they get ya for a draught now at the Park?

I almost had to turn the game off last night. Yuck.

Yeah the starters need to pitch well consistently..not he a totally different pitcher one inning to the next. Need to be more aggressive and stop trying to putz around the zone. Walking in runs is never acceptable. It's embarrassing right now.

And our bullpen..yikes. It's not like there isn't talent there. Guys just need to focus and pound the zone.

Anyway. It's early so I'm not freaking out yet. But the last two games have been ugly as hell. Offense can't score 10 runs a game (I don't think)

Lol

Anyone "has a shot" at the.postseason.

Anyone "could" win the division.

Some great "expert" commentary there bud.

Listen. I get it. You're the big boss man here. This is a place you can come.e in life and be "respected". 50,000 posts. Right on bud!

But your little "I'm gonna act superior" schtick just doesn't impress me.

And you can shake in your boots over the Mets if you'd like. I'm not worried. The Phillies are taking this division. The Mets have made improvements..that's also some good "expert" analysis..but it's not enough. The Phillies added 5 all stars this off-season to a young team that led the division until the last.momth of the season last year. With the added veteran leadership, huge upgrade in talent, and a good young core of players with another season under their belts..they are primed to take this division.

You have a nice day. :)

Yea, and they still dont have enough pitching....And who knows if their 5 all stars are going to keep playing like all stars. A long way to go to annoint anyone of anything and that includes the phillies

The pitching certainly looks suspect right now. No doubt.

$13-15 for a beer right now. Not.much different than the past couple years.
WOW. That's insane. Haven't been down there since Howard hit his 58th (2006). He was my boy back then. Seats were 10 rows in back of home plate. I had a huge sign "howard hits 58th". When he connected, everyone knew it was gone & history was being made. The stadium went nuts. Talk about goosebumps lol.

If memory serves me correctly they were $7.50 a pop. But, fans will keep buying because there's nothing better than an ice cold beer/hotdog on a summer day at a baseball game.

The new kid at 1st for the Mets is a masher. The kid crushes everything. Of course with his success, some jerk pitcher is going to take it upon himself to see if they can pitch up and in and "accidently" put him on the shelf for a while with a pitch that just "got away" from him. You know its coming. Probably will be a division rival that does it. Marlins have been known to do it (they went after Cespedes when he was mashing early on in his Mets career) and there is no love lost between the other two teams. Dont be surprised if it does not happen in the next week against the Braves or Phillies. But hopefully they remember the Mets have three hurlers that can hit 100 MPH and hit a bullseye at 60 ft 6 inches.

Fourteen strikeouts in 8 innings for the Phil's bullpen today as they win the series against those stinky fish.

Funny looking at the AL East standings and only seeing one team above .500 (Tampa).

And the Mets are tied with the Phils at the top of the NL East.

The Phillies have lost 7 consecutive series against the METS. Hopefully that streak will end when the METS/Phillies face off for the first time this season, tonight.

Phil's lead the division by half a game.
