He doesnt seem to have the strength to beat tackles, he isnt going to handle the interior. He has no move other then a attempted bull rush. But normally off the snap goes right into the tackle and plays patty cake with him. He shows very little persuit speed. And isnt very good against the run. This just had round 4 talent screaming all over him.

if your looking at his highlight reel dont. He has success over inerior teams. Look at the games vs good teams. He;s bad and its not even the better sec teams

His play recognition and reaction is poor. Late to running plays and otherwise plays way to slowly.

Of course I can see us taking him on Day 3.

I know that Boise and La Tech are both considered mid-majors, so it shouldn't make me nervous, but both Tank and LVE measured well, not so much with this guy.

Had two sacks and another pressure in this one, so I don't think it can be called a bad game from that standpoint.

However, the only time he seems motivated is when he's rushing the passer or the play is ran right at him. He pulls up and practically jogs if he's forced to give chase. Might be a trait that can be browbeat out of him by Marinelli. but he's going to get stymied a lot as a pro (like any player) and his team won't be able to afford for him to just give up like he does on those plays he considers himself to be out of.

I definitely prefer players who give maximum effort down after down over ones even with more talent who take plays off or give up on them.

If we do draft him, I hope that he quickly learns that that isn't going to cut it in the pros. The upside is that he shows good fight in pursuit of the quarterback, working to get around or through the tackle.
