Today is still 3 over months from July 15th or what expected to be the deadline for the deal

I think DLaw realized it was in his and the team's best interest to speed things up and sign the deal so he could get the surgery..... it was a sign of leadership and maturity

I think we will be back for a couple preseason games at worst
I see him ready for the preseason. The preseason will be his training camp. He should see good action and really test it out in the 3rd preseason game. The dress rehersal. If JJ let’s the starters play this preseason and don’t shut it down.

it will take a solid 6 months to rehab to the point an nfl player needs. The biggest issue will be if they have to shorten the ac capsule they take and stitch it in the arm pit area. Then every time you put your arms above your head you can feel it pull on the area they stitch it together. It took me over a year to lose that feeling, but I didn't have a NFL styled rehab. I was out of work for 6 weeks.
BS you don’t know that. You can’t compare a couch potato’s rehab with an NFL players.

LOL.

I got to be honest............ I like Lawrence and wanted him back but it rubs me the wrong way that he used his shoulder as leverage and now has possibly put part of the 2019 season in jeopardy because of it.

I am sure other will disagree with me but it just doesn't sit well with me. Hopefully it's a 4 month thing and he's back for some or most of August camp.
It doesnt with me either

Lol couch potato. I said I'm not a professional athlete but I did do rehab 3 days a week and personal workouts two other days. I'm just equating my experience. I also had the Carolina panthers team ortho do my surgery. My surgery lasted 5 hours not just some clean up. I had a torn rotator cuff, torn labrum, stretched A/C capsule they had to rebuild the the cuff on the actual labrum as well. My surgeon told me he had just done a study with Dr. Andrews I had something called batters shoulder I injured in baseball.

Plus it's not just about the work you put in but allowing your body time to heal before the uncomfortable parts work it's self out.

Like I said, you don’t know that just based on your personal experience. Come on man.

nope. we sign him and give him millions to potentially miss 3-4 games.
I’m betting on 6-8 games missed. If that’s the case he and his agent need to be totally brutalized on these boards. Not having the surges was a punk ***** *** move.

Like he or his agent care a hang what we say here on this board, geez! They are laughing all the way to the bank as they count their millions.

Lol why does my opinion matter so much to you?
I'm not a Cowboys trainer, coach or troll even. Just stating my opinion which carries no more weight than a troll farting glitter.
That's what I was trying to point out. Just stating your opinion will make those less astute believe your opinion.

Don't count your eggs in the basket too quickly. DLaw hasn't won anything until fully recovered and playing too tier football without missing games. If something goes wrong and his recovery is delayed, how is he a winner?

$17M guaranteed last year. $65M guaranteed in the first 3 years of this deal. $82M for 4 years of work. You think that doesn't spell winner? I was talking about the people who wanted to deny him his money but he got it and they got mad, lol.

Only $48M is guaranteed the first two years, the third year adds another $17M guaranteed. I won't consider him a winner until after his surgery is successful and he heals and is racking up sacks again. If the surgery doesn't work out, Dallas can cut him and he'll only get the $48M... less than half of the full contract.

Recovery times and physical limitations greatly vary from patient to patient. After my heart attack, I was told not to lift more than 5lbs for the first month along with other restraints on my daily activities. What doctors failed to take into consideration was physical strength and endurance before the heart attack. I disregarded their suggestions and did what felt right for my body. It paid off and my heart fully recovered in a few weeks. Doctors tend to have a cookie cutter view of people and place restrictions like everyone is the same. We're not. Just for the record, I didn't have a mild heart attack. It was what the doctors called a Widow Maker.
