I dont see anybody like that that in this draft atleast early,Simmons will go in the 1st RD imo.

I'm not sure who that would even be

Highly doubt it's Simmons. He just had a normal ACL tear. There wasn't even a consensus among physicians and PTs if Jaylon would ever play without a brace. The insight probably came from our team doctor, who's one of the premier knee specialists on the planet.

Can't think of another risky pick that would be worth it

I was locked into that kind of thinking for the longest time...but all the mocks I've been doing for the last 2 weeks..has him slipping. It might happen.

I just don't think teams can afford to sit a guy a year and wait. Plus he does bring baggage w/ the fight he was in.

Honestly...this could be the Elliot situation all over again...and do you want to go down that road again?

This pick for us could give the NFL the ammo to drag us through the mud all over again.

Guys I misread this first too, but all this basically says is JJ expects someone with 1st round talent and red flags to be available. It doesn’t say the team is looking to draft a risk guy.

Notice how it says, JJ is “confident” that the “opportunity” will be there, that basically is an extremely obvious and simple take. All he’s saying is that type of player will be there (duh), he is not saying that’s the type of guy the team wants with its first pick.

SJ said they are looking for plug and play starters today as well, I think we know where the drafting responsibilities lie with the team recently,
