Before we let the emotional arguments get out of hand about Dez Bryant we shoiuld make sure we focus on the facts.
1. His age.
2. His declining performance. If he was so great why wasn't he just willing his way to success, and hands down beating the defenders with every chance he got?
3. Last his recent Achilles Heel injury. Let's not play that down because it is the elephant in the room when considering Dez ability to contribute.
We have heard posters state his ability to high point. We have heard posters talking about his ability to own the back shoulder fade.
Well both those abilities require physical performance. First in jumping ability and second ability to control your body in the air and take the ball form the defender.

I posted the above article because it references recent achilles heels injuries to NBA players where jumping is critical to their success in their sport. The results are not good.
Summary: 30% never return to the sport. Folks, that is basically saying good bye to 1/3 of the room.
60% are never the same players.
A quote from Elton Brand who was 28 at the time of his injury. "I didn’t have the same explosiveness that I had. I regained and then I relost it. I didn’t have it. I had to change my game a little bit where I jumped off two feet and I was a little bit slower." From 20-27 he was a solid 20 pt per game contributor. After the injury he was good for 13 points/game. He has been the one I could find the most quotable information on.
The only guy in this article who bucked the trend was Dominique Wilkins. The article does state that a trend of negative returns is noticeable from 30 and beyond.
There is nothing about the recent events of Dez Bryant that screams the Cwobys should take a risk on him.
He is an immature, somewhat malcontent 30 year old WR who has experienced an injury that typically robs athletes of the explosiveness in foot speed and jumping ability. How is this positive situation for signing Dez Bryant and taking a position from a younger player?
