Hmmm. So, I guess this means you can't spell Wikipedia either.
Lock the bottom line is I think Nick Foles will fail just like Kirk Cousins. I don't hold it against you that you liked this guy. I take it as you just haven't seen enough of him. I think I've watched every game he's ever played NFL Sunday Ticket is a wonderful thing

A lollipop bomb is what he does not necessarily what he has. I guess you're the one not understanding the term. Again I'm not the one not understanding that he sucks

I think the term you're looking for is a "rainbow drop".

There's no such thing as a lollipop bomb in football. Maybe your local ice cream man
offers a lollipop bomb and you're just confused... lol.

once again my answer to the OP is NO! We aint ok! We had better find out what we have with Rush and Mike White quickly. We will need a vet otherwise to fill the role of back up.

Nick Foles is definitely not any better than Trent Dilfer. He's failed everywhere. He had a half of the season. If it wasn't for the great running game. He wouldn't even have made it to the playoffs. There's a reason why they got rid of him. I think Kirk Cousins is actually better than him. How could you not see that he sucks. I guess you don't remember the games

In your following of Nick Foles career, where were you in 2013 when he led the NFL in Passing?
Look, I'm no fan of the guy, but to compare him to Dilfer is ridiculous. Baltimore didn't even invite
Dilfer back the following year. Philadelphia kept Foles despite the fact that they've committed
to Wentz. You've been comparing apples to oranges the whole time.

THANK YOU. Give me some Foles anyday.

What seems to be lost here is the fact that, when Foles was available, many on this board were
furious at the Jones " we like our guys" approach toward the backup QB spot. Then Philly signs him
and it eventually pays off with the Lombardi Trophy to end the year.

What the hell is a whirlwin anyway? Dude can't even spell his "name".... "It's 'whirlwind', you idiot!".... lol

You can watch all the games you want. It doesn't make a bit of difference unless there's
someone there to explain it to you.

We can agree I think no matter what side of the fence your on, we must do better in the back up QB department and get that solved. Right now we have no clue whatsoever what we have..but if we look how white and rush looked last preseason, it was GAWD AWFUL honestly. Not inspiring.

I think they'll sign a 4th QB for training camp at some point. It doesn't really matter if that is a veteran or a college free agent. The plan should be for Mike White to take a big step forward this season, and become Dak's long-term caddy. We'll see if that happens.

Given the cost of starting QBs, I'd be churning mid round QBs. Particularly with Rush not having the right stuff to ever be a credible starter.

We hit it big on Dak. Keep rolling the dice.

I wonder what it would cost to sign Geno Smith.

Looking at the FA list on nfl.com, it's slim pickens.
Bradford is the big name on the list but... it's Bradford, do we actually think he'll
play three games without injury?... lol.

I don't watch a huge amount of college games, but I did watch a lot of WVU games
because my dad watches them religiously, so it gives us something to talk about.
I know he's a 2nd round bust, but he has skills similar to Dak. He ran the read option
in college.

We'd still be screwed if Dak goes down for the year but maybe Smith can help for a game or two.

Just throwing it out there for discussion.

I especially like running QBs for churn. They give you something extra.

Some are way better off than we are.

I think it's actually malpractice to have such a terrible backup QB. I guess the Joneses learned well from 2015 -- if your QB gets hurt and you completely collapse to a wasted year, no worries. The fans will buy that it was just a bad break no one could overcome and we'll get 'em next season.

I think that is a big part of it, there is a talent dropoff but no matter what its very hard for someone to stop in and replace a guy like Romo or Prescott.

And in 2015 Brandon Weeden had all the physical talent, experience and was on a cheap contract - and he cratered from the mental side of stepping into that role. Cassell had played well in the past but he tanked in 2015 too, Dallas rolled craps three times that year with Romo's injury, then both backup QBs.

Its going to be interesting to see what Mike White does with an offseason in the system. He clearly wasn't ready to step on the field last year but had the physical skills that it was worth developing him. You could see him improving to the point that he is a marginal starter and poor mans Stan Humphries. But player development is never a straight line upward.

I'm hopeful that White will make a big jump this year. I agree with you regarding his skills.
This preseason will be interesting. The roster is deeper so more talented players will be on the field.
