Who said breakout star? I’ll take them just starting.

None of them will even be starting save for 2 or 3 injuries in front of them. To suggest they could be breakout 2019 stars is beyond ridiculous.

CCBoy thread title: 3 potential second-year stars to watch

This was also the last line in his thread: Here are three second-year Cowboys who have the potential to breakout in 2019...
But it says potential. Doesn’t guarantee anything. I don’t see the problem lol.

I think the objective was to highlight three players who weren’t the obvious Williams, Gallup and LVE. Chances of these guys doing anything are slim but I’m intrigued to see what all three do this preseason .

The thread clearly indicates he thinks they could be breakout STARS THIS YEAR

Don't show much confusion with his thread title or he will start cursing you out and insulting you. LOL

True story.

Hiding in plain sight...

One liners...insult....and then crying?

Not a word on the actual value of any of the three players....

Star indicates a pro bowl lever player. Breakout in 2019 indicates they could do it THIS year.

Are you saying this list of guys has THAT kind of potential for 2019 or are you saying that the thread isn't saying that?

I'll state my own reasons...not you attempting to justify your own statements.

On posts to YOU, I explained my reasons, and pointed out the valid intent in the author of the OP. Carry on....

I don’t think they meant they would be superstars. Breakout stars means just breaking out as players. Not breaking out as superstars.

I didn’t take it they were saying breaking out as stars. Just potential guys to break our. Seems like your problem is the term “star”?

Its funny because I have 10 - 12 people on Ignore and 90% of the time, I can tell which one of them is trolling by the replies to them by good posters.
He's on my ignore list as well.....lol:)

He is in a real discussion now, I'll just move on.

It says the word STARS.

1. BREAKOUT
2. STARS
3. 2019

It uses all 3 of those words in the same sentence.

I think what you mean is that there is no possible way that could be the meaning. Because there is no possible way these guys are going to be "breakout stars in 2019". LOL

Yah, you nailed it. STAR is a universally defined word. You cant mistake its meaning. These cats will NOT be stars THIS year and they should be on NO list as such.

He’s going to have to play special teams well. He could play well enough to take Hurns spot. I don’t think he will but that’s his competition.

Wait...………..LOL...…...Maybe he meant "breakout special teams stars"? Now that would have a shot at making some sense.

The author of this article used the word "star" in the title as click bait. Steven, the author, is basically trying to say; I think we can count on these guys, if we have to count on these guys. Meaning this guys can step up and step in without us losing a lot of production.

Correct. At the end of the day the title makes little sense.

Dallas Cowboys: 3 potential second-year stars to watch
https://thelandryhat.com/2019/05/28/dallas-cowboys-3-potential-second-year-stars/

Here are three second-year players for the Dallas Cowboys who might blossom into stars this offseason for America’s Team.

The Dallas Cowboys’ 2018 draft class was highlighted by one player. That being their first round selection out of Boise State, linebacker Leighton Vander Esch. The rookie phenom shocked the football world, earning a Pro Bowl nod in his very first season.

But the Cowboys’ class had some other possible stars in the making whom, for whatever reason, needed more time to blossom. Here are three second-year Cowboys who have the potential to breakout in 2019...

Dorance Armstrong, DE

Cedrick Wilson, WR

Dalton Schultz, TE

All three will be interesting to watch, but I don't think any have a realistic chance to blossom into stars this offseason. I'll be happy with some solid progress.

Really like Dalton Shultz, and he'll more than likely be the best blocking TE. Improvement? Yes looking forward to it, but breakout opportunity is minimal with Witten back.

Dorance Armstrong has like 4 guys ahead of him, but this DL would be much better it he took a step forward.

Cedrick Wilson just needs to play in a preseason game and get thru camp.
