Dak Prescott noticeably different in Cowboys offseason workouts

We've heard this about Dak every offseason since he's been a starter. "Dak looks good" "Dak's accuracy is improving" "Dak's mechanics look better."

He's in his 4th year and he has all the weapons around him. If he can't succeed then I don't know what to say.

He has succeeded.

The Cowboys have a reasonably easy schedule even though they wont the division last year. Dak to have a good season needs to prove he can break into the 4k yds passing and 28-30 passing td range if he wants that 30 mil. I like the way the Cowboys are surrounding him with help in Kitna and Moore. Hopefully he can improve a little and get this team in an NFC championship game. If he has a 3300 yd year and 22 tds Jerry is holding the cards and can negotiate more of a Foles contract.

Aikman didn’t. Offense needs to get more aggressive and pass happy. Nothing to do with dak.

Fair enough.
Dak having a full 16 games with Cooper & an improved Gallup should help silence the criticism quite a bit.
I expect good things from ol' Dak-O.
Dak was showing some nice redzone chemistry with Gallup last month of the season, too, so that's something good to keep in mind.

Well, he had under 40 sacks in 2016 and 2017 and his TD and INT numbers were about the same. Last year was an anomaly with Linehan’s offense not adjusting and the injuries on the offensive line.

I stand by what I wrote - Dak has more weapons this year and a better offensive line.

If Dak is feeling more comfortable and he is sharper and more accurate then this team is a SB contender because we are stacked almost everywhere. One thing is certain. Once cooper got here Dak looked good. He will be better this year. Do you guys think his production will match the contract he is looking for? What types of numbers does he need to reach for the contract and for a good season.

So he has to be more accurate than last seasons 67.7%. Sheez.

There was so many times last year when the Cowboys would get down in the redzone and coverages got tighter just because the field is compressed and you could see Dak wants to throw screens or run. Some people are saying guys arent getting open but in those situations a yard of separation is considered open. Even half a yard is open. I know Dak likes to protect the ball but he isnt showing confidence in his arm to throw the ball into smaller windows.

I have no problem with the passing game. My problems were more so the outdated playbook and the moronic play calling.

But he has a long way to go as a passer. You might be happy with making the pro bowl and winning one playoff game but some of us have the bar a little higher.

It may mean nothing to you and others, that share your common "whatever you call it", not hate, but I guess "who cares" attitude. But it means a lot to the players and coaches and it DOES serve a purpose.
And it means a lot for many fans that want to be kept informed of what is going on, and what players does look good even without pads.

So I guess you rather they do not have these, then Come TC and regular season complain why don't they do this in May and June to help the players understand the concepts? For when they get to TC they will have an idea of what will happen, so they can get right to it.
