How many of you, if Jerry relents, would be willing to stick around for 4 or more years with a developing QB who, at least last year, could not unleash the long ball?

Do I want Dak to take a discount? Yep.

Do I expect him to? Nope.

Does it affect our cap meaningfully? Nope.

So do I care? Not really.

I only care about the cap and it affects signing our young guys + possible mercenaries like Quinn.

It won't. Even paying Dak 35million, we'll still be almost $70million under next year, and that's not counting the fact his first year will probably be cheaper due to signing bonus.

I think the team is good enough to make a run in the next few years so whatever. Cap is fine.
