I think the cowboys have been lucky in the fact they have had enough good QB's to have this debate. I think that this don't take place in too many forums. I think also that too many fans are emotionally charged when it comes to this. I think each QB can be judged by how they did in their particular eras. There have been rule changes that benefit receiving corps.There is also that don't touch the QB's any longer that can add to this debate IMO.
For this fan its Roger Staubach
Then Aikman
Then White
Then Romo
Prescott hasn't played long enough in my opinion to warrant any discussion in this.
I also understand that its different eras with different rules and different offenses. If you can combine all the intangibles that made them great QB's of Aikman,White and Romo you come up with Staubach which is why I think he was the best by a landslide but im bias and I grew up watching and loving him
