Quinn is more of a pass rush specialist. Maybe Hyder, or someone else, beats out Crawford at RDE in the base. We have a lot of them.
But at DT, even with Hill and Crawford, I still only see 3 pass rushers, counting Maliek. And Crawford is probably be the best of the 3 today.
I don't see Crawford leaving yet. And next year, Maliek likely leaves (although I'd try to sign him cheap *now* to an extension).
Quinn is a better run-down player than a lot of people think.
Here's how I see the line playing out:
Quinn and Lawrence are clearly the starting ends. I think Hyder is going to be the primary rotation player at left end and Armstrong at right end. Charlton could get one of those jobs if he steps up or Hyder or Armstrong falters. Or Crawford could be out there, primarily on some run downs if none of the backups proves to be better.
On the interior, Woods is our starting NT, and I think Covington will line up at 3-tech on clear running downs. Collins could beat him out for that role, but I don't think Collins is great against the run and with his injury history, it may best to limit him to passing downs ... for now. At the beginning of the season, I see Hyder and Collins/Crawford as the primary pass-rushing DTs, with Hill eventually becoming comfortable enough to push Collins/Crawford to lesser roles.
So that gives me (10):
Ends: Lawrence, Quinn, Hyder, Armstrong, Charlton, Crawford
Tackles: Woods, Covington, Hyder, Collins, Crawford, Hill
The wild cards are Joe Jackson and Daniel Wise. If one (or both) show well, then we'll have to make a decision about Charlton, Crawford and/or Collins. Then, of course, there's the Gregory suspension, which I don't expect to change because he was suspended under the current rules.
