1995 NFC championship game

hello did anyone record or watch the replay of the 1995 nfc championship game against the packers this morning at 2am. great game to watch again. you could tell the cowboys were at the end of there run but with better drafting could have prolonged that but we all know what happened after that. you could also tell that the packers were ready to take off. the cowboys had to play there butts off to win that game.

This was still part of the era (although the tail end) where the winner of the NFC Championship game= Super Bowl victor.

There were a LOT of big boys on the field for the game on both sides — the Great Wall with Larry Allen, Newton, etc.. Gilbert Brown, Reggie White etc for the Packers

It was a classic clash.

Didn't know it was on. But I have it on VHS from recording it back then. As I do with a lot of games from the 90's. Stopped recording them around 2000.
I have all the playoff games, and SB's, as well as most regular season wins. I think the only loss I have is when Emmitt got the rushing title over Payton again Seattle.

I have one of those cube boxes like a foot locker full of VHS tapes of games.

Right, as Dallas was a team that did not have the experience, too young, and all of that. The media acted as if we would get blown out.

But what I loved about Jimmy, he knew better, he knew this team was very good, and the team knew it too. They weren't scared of any team nor the big stage for being the youngest team in the NFL.

I have a 2 hour plus video I put together of all the games highlights that year.
For some reason I started recording all the highlights of every game from ESPN and when CNN had their sports show, also, Inside the NFL from HBO.
I seen almost every game that year, living in south Florida. So recorded them on the same tape of the games. Then eventually copied the highlights to string all together.

I since converted it from VHS to digital.

If you are talking about the 95 season, this is not true. We had a 12-4 record and the Niners were 11-5. We had homefield in the NFC that season.
