who said Dak is a loser? most people who criticize Dak point to the flaws in his game, with same facts you are mentioning...Dak Lover/Dak Fanatics call that "calling Dak a loser". you all have to be less sensitive, to you all its all or nothing. there is no in between.I had to take the offseason off of this place because I'm a pragmatist: I go with what works.
Dak Prescott as the Dallas Cowboys quarterback works.
And the numbers prove it.
Numbers are facts, to me at least. Most stats can tell you something in the context of the team... Dak has the stats of a winner. He wins. He's proven that.
So, I get tired of arguing with people who think Dak's a loser — for whatever reason.
That facts are, almost every single statistic you point at proves he's not.
So, what would Dake have to do in 2019 for all of the Dak-hating, fact-denying quarterback know-it-alls to eat crow on Dak being a legit quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys?
I was Romo's first fan. I loved watching him play. But I'm happy to be moving forward with Dak.
What would he have to do to make you happy?
so you want to tell me Dak Fanatics have never compared Dak to Brady? Brees? Stabach? Aikman?...seriously dude!!! you want to go there?Dak haters always invoke Brady - an anomaly with an anomaly coach, or Rogers, who has 1SB in nearly a decade. They won't ever be happy, even with a SB.
can I say the same thing about Dak Lovers..... there is nothing he can do that will change their mind. everything wrong that he does, the Dak Lovers fingers are pointing to somebody else. the RB, the FB, the WR, the OL, the coach, section 402 row 33, the alignment of the planets...its never Dak.There’s really not anything that Dak can do to change the minds of the Dak haters. ^^ Their lack of character prevents them from admitting they are wrong and they’ll always find something to complain about.
for Dak Lovers Love is blind. there is nothing that can undo that...you never see any of his flaws. to you, he has an S on his chest and he can do no wrong. There’s really not anything that Dak can do to change the minds of the Dak haters. ^^ Their lack of character prevents them from admitting they are wrong and they’ll always find something to complain about.
in this post you showed character.I support and believe in Dak. However your statement here is indicative of an underlying problem. Different people have different reasons for not believing in Dak. Your statement implies that they all have the same reason and insults them for having no character because of it. It is an underhanded tactic and unworthy of you. It adds nothing to the discourse other than unnecessary vitriol. Everyone here should strive to be better than that.
in some ways, a it comes across that a lof Dak Lovers/Dak Fanatics would rather see Dak succeed and team doesn't so they can point fingers as opposed to the otherway around. if Dak has average stats, average season, but we win championship, some of them would be mad....if Dak is a top5 passer but we don't make the playoffs, some of them would rejoice. The only debate and using your words complaining is when it pertains to DAK?
Now Mr.Rockport why is that?
Why aren't there threads debating the talents of Zeke,Coop,Byron,LVE,Martin,Fred,Jaylong, etc etc etc.....
I'll say it one more time......Why are there exclusively doubts here if Mr. Prescott is the real deal?
Why?????....we'll there's doubt and your answer to this fact is that there all Haters.
You get the idea but then again knowing your DAK First team second philosophy who knows and we really don't care as we have eyes and can see a inept QB who is unworthy of leading America's team to anywhere but maybe a FG attempt!
just because you didn't fawn over dak and don't have a poster of him over your bed...you are a hater. its either 100% for dak or you are a hater. how dare you criticize and point to some of his flaws...you are a hater.I’m not at an extreme on him, probably moderate. I see what intangibles he brings but am not sold as a highly paid franchise QB either. I do think he can drive the bus to a SB but will need a complete team around him for that kind of playoff run.
He has games that impress me followed by some head-scratchers. What worries me is the accuracy and decision making at times.
Whichever way someone is leaning......this upcoming year should tell us a lot on where he is at and if he has reached his ceiling.
I hope he repeats his rookie season and goes on to be our QB for the next 10 years but I have my reservations for sure.
so here we go again....you attribute wins to Dak, but losses are the Team's fault!!! is that how it works?OP it’s impossible. This is a run-first time-of-possession style offense. Dak is never going to throw for 5000 yards and 50 TDs. Mahomes and Rodgers wouldn’t do that here either.
Dak already dominates the stat sheet in most every category, including wins. And a Super Bowl win still won’t stop the haters; they’ll say Zeke or the defense carries him.
So, sorry to say, the haters gonna hate.
I don't get it. I really don't. so what that people think he is a bus driver. isn't about wins and championships and not personal achievements....if he is really a bus driver and he leads the team to a superbowl win...then I am all in for Dak. this has nothing to do with the contract he is going to get...which is something Dak Lovers/Dak Fanatics are going to bring up on this thread....inevitable....one of them will say, he is going to get his money so deal with it you hater...and its inevitable they will mention Romo.I'm all in on Dink Prescott, every bus needs a driver
just because they don't fawn over dak and foam at the mouth, doesn't mean they don't like him..... there in lies the problem...I find it incredibly stupid that the folks around here that don't think Dak is good enough cant even put together a couple of sentences to answer this question..
If you don't like dak, fine..I get it..but I've asked this exact same question before and they're speechless...
LOL. I just saw this post, although I posted my response earlier than reading this...as I mentioned its inevitable for Dak Lovers/Dak Fanatics...they will mention Romo and they will Mention contract and money...neither of which has anything to do with his play..... too funnyTony Romo was a great QB and even he had his haters. Like half the fanbase when he was playing and still a ton of them in retirement.
Just ignore the stupidity.
Dak will soon be making over 30 MILLION dollars/year to play football. He won in life. His haters lost.
a totally meaningless game for either team. Giants spiraling down. and their defense was sleep walking in the field.....Jason Garrett once had a 300+ yard game against the GB packers...…he put the team on his back on Thanks giving and carried them to victory.Giants week 17 comes to mind
then you are blind, or choose to ignore, which is what Dak Lovers do...(love is blind)….there has been 1739272 responses with such facts about Dak…..simple example,in three years he has been middle of the pack passer in the league not close to top 10....that one is very easy for you to research on NFL.com..... but I am sure there is some selective, small box sample you will point to, to counter this..... its inevitableWhat valid criticism? I have yet to read a post with meaningful fact-based criticism. You pick the category. Wins. Comeback wins. Completion percentage. Yards per completion. Rushing touchdowns. TD to INT ratio. It goes on and on.
Even the sacks he has taken (holds the ball too long) is a phantom argument - he takes less sacks and less fumble/sacks than Wentz, for example.
I would love to see someone criticize Dak with a fact-based argument.
what about the Indy game? the Titans game? the Saints Game? the Chargers game?...… Jason Garrett once had a 300+ yard game on thanks giving...putting the team on his back and carried the team to victory...He put the team on his back vs the eagles too...it got to the point where dak had to score every possession late in the game to win it...and he did
just because they don't fawn over dak and foam at the mouth, doesn't mean they don't like him..... there in lies the problem...
that's one of his pluses and minuses. I have criticized Dak (no I don't hate him), but my positives was, for whatever reason the light goes on his head and when behind in the 4th, he tends to elevate his game. he is still flawed in his foot work, throwing, etc. but he somehow makes it happen. its innate with him. that's why we are behind so often in the first 3 quarters, and the reason he has so many comebacks...Does anyone have Daks QBR by quarter? It seems for the most part he is an average to below average the first 3 quarters then becomes All-Pro in the 4th.
If he wasn’t struggling so much the first 3 quarters, his stats would looks a lot different
Philly game at home last year is perfect example
why don't you reach all the way back to 1925 and bring up those stats...EVERYONE knows the football rules changes to favor passing. when during that era, a 3500 or 4000 yard passer would be phenomenal...in this dayt and age, there are 5000 yard passers and last year there were two over 5000 and 12 over 4000...…. you can't compare era's of football with straight up stats..... its stupid.Yap, yap, yap. Do you realize neither Troy nor Roger averaged more than 200 yds/game for their entire careers? Like most yappy dogs, you should stay on the porch
