LOL, doesn’t have the durability Zeke has? and how do you know this?
In one year It's been quite visible he's playing through some leg injuries. Unless Zeke was in the same boat in his first year then this isn't a discussion lol

Barkley is his only competition. And we already know Barkley doesn't have the durability that Zeke has. People crying over Zekes 2nd contract, even from the day he was drafted, I wonder what they think of Barkley or any of the other top backs if they were here instead.
Good question.

Really? Then why did Barkley have more overall touches and more overall yards his rookie year compared to Zeke during his rookie year and why did he run for over 100 yards in the final game of the season against us?

Have you ever even watched him play? Barkley runs back to the huddle after long rushes when Zeke looks like he’s drowning and trying to come up for air.

Yeah, sounds like he’s not durable

Earl Campbell looked like he was drowning and trying to come up for air after every carry!!!!! He would just lay there after the play, and then sloooooowly drag himself up and he looked like he was walking in cement going back to the huddle.

The most impressive RB I ever witnessed in person. And I saw ED too.

17 carries 109 yards. One carry for 26 yards another for 68 yards. That’s 94 of 109 yards on 2 carries. Which leaves 15 yards on the other 15 carries. That’s an average back to me. Any Starting NFL RB does that. What’s so spectacular?

Then you have absolutely no clue what an average back is LMAO

"Any starting RB gets 109 yards on 17 carries"

I...just...wow

Big Ben had the most passing yards in the league last year. You really think Ben is the best QB in the league?
We don’t normally associate most passing yards in the same quantity as most rushing yards.

And I’m not saying Elliott is best rusher in the league but I think we can certainly argue he was last year.

How so?

If you should be ranked the #1 running back because of having the most rushing yards, like you said, why would that not translate over to being the #1 QB if you have the most passing yards?

IMO the most rushing yards is quantified differently than most passing yards.

Until Barkley plays a couple more years, I'm waiting to rank him higher than Elliott.
Right

Barkley definitely could become one of the best currently. And I’d ranked him near the top already.

But IMO Gurley is most talented RB in the league but not when he’s not healthy.

I think last year there’s an excellent argument for Elliott as best RB. Definitely in Top 3 which was the question of thread.

Yeah, when you have to pulled off the field after long runs that’s opposite of durability. Nice comeback though, don’t address why Barkley had more overall touches and yards than Zeke his rookie year but say he isn’t durable.

Ok, fine, take that out of the equation. Why is it Barkley had more yards and overall touches than Zeke his rookie year but he isn’t considered durable compared to Zeke?

I swear, some of the stuff that you guys come up with is so far out there it’s ridiculous. Just throw accusatiins out there with zero facts to back it up and see if they stick.

Other than he needs to score more TDs, his numbers are simply better. We'll see what he can put together this season. Should be fun to watch. I hope we're a little more cohesive on the O line.

Who had more touches and yards?
