That will suck. I would hope we would know after the meeting if any punishment happens.Nothing is going to be announced today based on past history.
I am pissed this time. But I see it different as a fan. The players don’t even care as much when they lose a game as I do. LolIf he does catch a time out and you were a teammate, and not one getting an opportunity, how would you feel about this?
How do you feel if you're his HC, OC and position coach?
With this being the Cowboys and the knowledge that the meeting is taking place, this could be a little more timely than usual.Nothing is going to be announced today based on past history.
May be without more than Elliott to start the season, I am thinking Crawford gets 4-6 and we don't know about Gregory's situation. All they need is two more DL and the Cowboys can have the first Suspended Front Four, be the Missing Foursome.I am pissed this time. But I see it different as a fan. Imagine it’s to hear Zekes side of the story and gauge his remorse about the incident and his future . Then they’ll internally mull it over and reach a decision sometime before training camp. With this being the Cowboys and the knowledge that the meeting is taking place, this could be a little more timely than usual.
But the real question is what's the purpose of the meeting? Is this to hear Elliott's side of this event or have they already heard that and this is to hand down a decision?
That's what I was thinking but I think many are expecting this to get handed down right after the meeting. The timing of this process is really slow.Imagine it’s to hear Zekes side of the story and gauge his remorse about the incident and his future . Damn, you screwed my set up you jerk Touche!Good question. Where is goodell office. Maybe New York. He shares a office with mara..
I don’t think Gregory plays again. JJ was optimistic but that’s only if goodell has a change of heart. He missed a drug test. Same as failing. He was suspended indefinately. I thought the next step was banishment but apparently not.May be without more than Elliott to start the season, I am thinking Crawford gets 4-6 and we don't know about Gregory's situation. with where the league is heading towards in regards to pot use.... Gregory will be back.I don’t think Gregory plays again. JJ was optimistic but that’s only if goodell has a change of heart. i don't think they really care about "his side" of the story anymore. you get that benefit of doubt first few times. After that the problem is just you. With this being the Cowboys and the knowledge that the meeting is taking place, this could be a little more timely than usual.

don't care at this point. if his motivation is weed first, NFL career second, that's all i need to know.with where the league is heading towards in regards to pot use.... Gregory will be back.
He’s already met with Hill.

like gregory - the "star" life seems to be more attractive than an NFL career. With you there.
Nobody forced Zeke to get drunk, to go to bars, etc. He has to learn some control, realize that at some point the league/commish will lay it on him big time, and that he's still under his rookie contract. Another incident or two and even Jerry would be loathe to give him a big deal...
please name these other players who "get away with it" and what they got away with. i'd like to see the comparison. What's funny is Zeke hasn't done half the stuff that some of the players from our SB teams did. The only difference is it's a different time. He has to be smarter. He knows he's on Goodell's radar. That's what I'm most mad at him for.
Indefinite suspension amounts to banishment, they don't have to go that extra step. The player has to petition for re-instatement and the league doesn't have to comply even with a hearing.I don’t think Gregory plays again. I can name one big one. Michael Irvin. Loved him but some of the stuff he did off the field was ridiculous. I still blame him for derailing our 1996 season. What did Zeke do? He pulled a woman's top down that she didn't mind and love tapped a security guard. Give me a break. That crap with that woman was bogus. Even the NFL's investigator said their was no proof. What Zeke has done is a bunch of childish things...nothing more.please name these other players who "get away with it" and what they got away with. i'd like to see the comparison.
