Ya know, lame duck or not doesn't matter. While I am not a Garrett fan, I do believe he's done the best he can and that's all anyone can ask. We will never know if that job is different than all of the others in the NFL or just how, if it is.

The other thing about jobs is what's usually the #1 or 2 priority? Getting along with your bosses and he's done a very good job of that. Except for that speaking out of turn for his previous OC that he was thinking of firing last season but didn't so Booger could fire him this season. Ya see, saving the fun jobs for his boss. Now that's a fine employee.

I really don't think garrett is worried about it and neither is jerry as long as he wins 8 to 10 games a year and makes the playoffs some and win a playoff game every now and then he will be safe the key is if the money starts to slow down or they are not on tv much then jerry may do something other wise he seems comfortable and so do most fans it all comes down to the money and the cowboys keep getting talked about in the media

So we can agree he has no balls.
To be clear, I never believed that Garrett shoulda been made HC of the Cowboys...but then my name ain’t Jones.

However, unlike every one of his predecessors, JG has adapted sufficiently so as to function within the Jeruh Collective.

The Garrett shield in full force!!!! Lol!!

This was all you were looking for. No he ain't worried, if you haven been paying attention to Jason's demeanor under pressure, then you know the answer.

Gotta give Kliff credit for making the decision. Garrett would have asked Jerry what to do.

Lol...you think Kliff made that decision himself without approval from the Fo....lol

Our situation is so different from other NFL sites. Difficult to compare.

I only try to compare to other puppets we’ve had since Jimmy left. And this looks like about as good of place our franchise has been since Parcells left.

Managing and or influencing our dysfunctional ownership might be the biggest job at hand here.

Despite whatever criticisms we have for Garretts “Game Day “ coaching I believe he deserves some credit for the current culture of this franchise assuming we think it’s in a good Or at least better place than when he took over.

Normally I measure success of mgmt are we in a better shape than when they took over? I’d say yes. Even if Garrett isn’t responsible for anymore than his organizational skills and influence of our ownership.

I sure hope he’s worried, because he hasn’t won jack when he wasn’t worried.

Jerry’s the one who’s worried. Where’s his next Puppet coming from? Lol

Anybody with sense would be worried. Even if Jerry is just playing schtick for the media & fans, Jason has to know he isn't seen as a top notch coach. When you're in such a high profile position, people that don't understand the nuts & bolts of your work can still have a lot of influence on your career.

Good people get fired all of the time. Mix in egos & backroom agendas & it just gets squirrelly.
