Garrett- perfect puppet for Jerry

Fans have to look past Garrett’s field general weaknesses for his greater contribution as a walk around advisor to our GM. The influences over Jerry in the culture of our team and franchise are Garretts greatest assets to the Dallas Cowboys.

Garrett’s asset is propping up our dysfunctionally led franchise from the distractions which would be in total shambles like it was before Parcells resurrected it from the ashes because Jerry is unwilling to let anyone else run football operations including his son. And doesn’t want a more reputable HC who could receive more credit like Jimmy did.

Garrett’s criticism feeds perfectly into Jerry’s agenda. Jerry can handle and deflect the public outcry unlike anyone I can recall in recent sports history. The more criticism Garrett takes the more credit Jerry could receive if they have more success.

As long as Garrett can prevent the team from collapsing remaining relevant , Jerry can continue freewheeling and manage the rest.

More propaganda in an attempt to take part of the blame off of Garrett's shoulders. They're both to blame, Garrett for being a terrible coach and Jerry for allowing it to continue for as long as he has. And all because Jerry has an ego as large as Texas.

Sean Payton is the guy but then the problem is Jerry doesn't believe in paying coaches and someone will give Payton a ton of money.

Jerry's ego is our problem Monday-Saturday and Jason Garrett is our problem on Sunday's.

You can't just win on talent alone anymore because the salary cap doesn't allow teams to stockpile talent so coaching is at an all time importance and we just lack coaches that scheme well.

I think our coaches are great at teaching the fundamentals but there is no next step. It's just fundamental football and if it doesn't work we just take the L.

Agreed. But he still didn’t have anymore success while building a team that Wade took to 13-3 on the verge of a championship appearance.

If his coaching flaws are costing us in big games that’s only a factor because he’s placed us in that position.

Nobody has perfect teams anymore. As soon as we strengthen unit's that have "weakness" another unit will fall apart due to age or free agency.

Parcells was brought in to get that stadium built.

We got so bad that we were almost never the National game and Dallas had almost completely lost all of their spotlight under Dave Campo and Parcells instantly changed that.

Who’s winning championships without a #1 defense or Elite QB’s . It’s certainly not the norm. Yea the Egirls did it.

Like I said not the norm. They did have a top 5 defense and a QB who was playing at a MVP level which delivered 11-2 and home field, then another QB who played at an MVP level in SB. So , it could be argued they also fit the rule.

But I’m not setting or lowering the Bar. Jerry is. I’m just calling it out and where the target should be. Everyone else is just out of frustration for the immovable object.

My argument is Garrett is probably actually lifting up this dysfunctional organization despite whatever weaknesses he brings on Game Day.

On another note, a friend of mine says...what better yes man can Jerry hire other than Jason.

I am going into this season neither a fan for or against Garrett. I just want to win because of him or in spite of him.
