Is it me or the 2019 schedule looks brutal?

Something some of you know nothing about lol blaming people for schedules when it’s predetermined every year. Hell I can give you the schedule for Dallas the next 20 years pending two games based off standing
Oh, yeah? So give us the schedule for the next 20 years...since you say you can?

..with the exception of Jets & Dolphins, everyone else looks like a formidable challenge. According to some stats analysis, Dallas falls in the middle of things in terms of difficulty. Im hoping we can scrape 10 this year.

Pats along with Skins have the easiest. How does that even happen? SB winners should default to a difficult schedule. Prove yerself again.

2 games vs washington, 2 games vs giants are formidable? Lions, Bills, Niners? 7 games dallas should win easily.

Yep, it's a tough schedule. We've known this for some time. It's nothing new. It comes with success.

Let's simply try to enjoy the coming season free any undue hand wringing and hope for the best. ;)

All NFL schedules are brutal every year. The talent disparity is very thin between a 4-12 team and a 12.4 team.

College football has huge talent disparities and looking at a schedule you can fairly accurately approximate how many wins a team will get. In the NFL, schedule projecting is fools gold because last year's worst team could be this year’s new juggernaut.

Somewhat agree. The nfl isnt wide open though it can be narrowed down to 10-12 teams a year that have a shot at actually winning the superbowl.

Cowboys have the #1 toughest schedule in the whole NFL.

Eagles have one of the easiest. So do the Patriots.

Thank you, Goodell!!!!

Oh wait, there are those who don't believe in conspiracies or that Goodell's office (those around him) don't have it in for Jerry and the Cowboys
Nevermind. There is no conspiracy.

:muttley:

The schedule formula is the same as it has been for years. There was no deviation from it to screw/favor certain teams. That you're apparently unaware of how it works is hardly evidence of a conspiracy.

Cowboys ranked 14th hardest overall

Stop worrying about the schedule. The rest of the NFCE basically has the same schedule except two games. Plus the. Orbits probably have one of the easiest divisions in the NFL. Skins and Giants will likely be down and the eagles are just the eagles.

Probably because the Pats division is CRAP and needs to be shaken up.

So true. Every year people fall into the trap of predicting how hard or easy a schedule is because of what happened the year before. It’s almost like people forget that there are 5-6 new playoff teams each year.

As mentioned earlier in the thread about there only being a 2 game difference. To address your point about the Commanders having the easiest. The difference between the Cowboys and the Commanders schedule is 2 games.

Cowboys have New Orleans and the Rams, while the Commanders have the 49ers and the Panthers.

Strength of schedule really doesn't mean all that much.

Exactly my point. Why hasn't a tougher team been replaced for either the Jets, Dolphins or Bills the past 20+ years? It's been smooth sailing for the Patriots to win their division and make the playoffs every year for the past 20+ years.

By proving there is no conspiracy, you want them to reshape divisions because of how inept of team’s front offices are?

Imagine if they move the Cowboy into a division with the Rams, Saints, And Bears because Patriots fans felt you were winning too much. That would only cement a conspiracy theory.

Because strength of schedule in the NFL is a myth. 87.5% of the schedule is identical across the NFCE.

the only thing i don't like about this schedule is that there are no back to back home games....

but that also means there are no back to back road games...
yes they have back to back road games against Detroit and the pats in november
