Good lord some of the blocking on those olines were down right putrid. How many early snaps, or over the head snaps did Romo have to chase down? So, So bad.
I would suggest, chap, old boy, that Danny White, Roger, Dandy Don and Aikman endured. And they achieved with playoff wins (more than 2) and won Super Bowls!
Romo? DaK?
Both forever second-tier (but Dak needs a chance, first).

Just sayin, Aikman was a good solid QB. But those early 90s teams didn't even need a great QB. They had Emmitt, the wall and a deep defense.
Yes. Rather.
Carry on then. Can you check in the gun?

Romo was the best player of his generation to not win a super bowl. He overcame some horrible rosters, as evidenced by that video to put up some monster numbers and keep Jerry Jones’ team relevant for a decade.
Yes!
He made us proud!

Not trying to bash on Romo but these silly comments about how he would have won a Superbowl if he got his job back in 2016 is just that silly. Some talk about if he had Zeke, or whatever else they say is absurd. Romo had some good teams and even had a running back that had now yards then Zeke in any year he has been here. Romo had a prime Dez and Witten, he has defenses that had shut outs in back to back games, he has had some very good OL, he had an explosive T.O and a very good receiving corps, and yes he also had a legendary coach as well. Romo never got past the divisional round in the playoffs and had a terrible losing record once he got there. But now all over a sudden people think he was going to over come all that and finally win in the playoffs when he couldn't even take a hit without getting hurt....... Stop with the foolishness. Romo was a good QB and had some great performances but never got it done. He will never go down as one of the top 2 QBs in Dallas history and frankly I can't put him ahead of Danny White.

His time is done and right now Dak is the QB, maybe y'all Romo cheerleaders should stop being salty and start supporting Dak because like it or not this team goes as far as Dak takes us....... And that's a fact jack
We are in the revisionist history phase of Romo's legacy

Dak had this offensive line and Zeke Elliott
Give those two things to Romo and he wins in the playoffs.. Romo wasn't injured when he could've gotten his starting position back.
All Romos injuries came on hit when he was in awkward positions. Freak injuries that would take anyone out.
Romo had the same offensive line and 1,800 yard rusher in 2014

Hey Doors.....I went back and compared Daks and Vicks stats. Dak is clearly better. I did see Vick play, but I guess it was mainly the highlights that I saw. I admit I was totally wrong and surprised. In hindsight, Vick should have dinked and donked more. Never the less, I still have a hard time paying Dak even 25 million for what he has displayed over the last 3 years.
We was a terrible pocket QB. As a a true QB, he only had 1 real season with the Eagles to wear you can truely say he was franchise worthy.

He would've killed it with Zeke and this offensive line.
Ill never forgive this organization for not giving him his starting position back.
Very well could've cost them a super bowl.
He was totally healthy and ready to rock.
Funny........I don't recall a list of teams lining up to sign him.

And we seen how one blown call may have cost him a chance at an NFC championship game.
Dak was one blown call away that may have cost him a chance at an NFC championship game.

Thing is you have to make the plays that put you in a winning situation. Romo didn't do that, he went for a deep pass on 4th and short instead of taking the easy first down to keep the drive moving. Even if the refs didn't over turn the catch they still had to score.

Yep I was so pissed. And let’s be real even if the Dez play counted there’s no telling the defense would have held up against Rodgers there was still time on clock

All that Dez play does is give those who continue to want to do what ifs a story to hold on to

Everyone pays lip service to football being a team sport, then turns around and blames the QB for everything. It's a baby's idea of how football works.

And the 2007 Cowboys were #13 in points allowed. People keep talking about that D but it was extremely average. 2014 they were #15 in points allowed. 2009 was the closest they had to having a real championship defense, but they imploded against the Vikings along with the offensive line.

For reference, here are the scoring defenses Brady won Super Bowls with: #1, #2, #5, #6, #6, #8.

You very well could be true and I tend to agree.

However, just one more weird tackle and it could've been devastating for the remainder of his young life, still ahead of him after football.

Not worth that, IMO.
