He got tackled. Tyron Smith and Ron Leary were a really strong combination. Doug free was not the greatest, but he always seemed to be good on the move upfield.
Ron Leary and Doug Free were long gone in last season's playoff loss to the Rams. Which question are you answering?

This, this lone game everyone keeps pointing too for Zeke. Sorry but there is only 1 thing that keeps eating at me on this game and it is 273 rushing yards. So wonder Goff played like ---- in this game and still won.
Lone game? What happened in Houston last year? Whose fault was that?

You are obviously being a troll.
Sorry if I am coming across as rude but be honest with everyone here. You are between the ages of 12-16 arent you?

Anyone who has any level of basic understanding of football would watch the Rams game and quickly realize that Zeke didn't have room to run. Trying to isolate 1 pay you think you found that shows a "hole" he didnt follow is trollish and an elementary level debate tactic that only continues to show a lack of understanding of this sport.

Btw....Not only does Zeke want top RB money but he will get top RB money regardless of your trollish opinion and way you present yourself.

Yo didn’t Murray have 1500+ yds rushing behind this OL? So your telling me part of Zeke success is the OL not the other way around.

What the hell happened to Zeke against Rams, especially on short yardage...

Rams STONEWALL Zeke on fourth-and-short
The Rams stonewall Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott on fourth-and-short.

There has been some unique commentary posted on this site for 13 straight years overly criticizing the quarterback position, basic 1 versus 11 tunnelvision warped football perspective, spanning literally thousands of unrealistic heehawing postings.

Now, defensive linemen blow up offensive linemen, end to end, close holes, protect cutback lanes, penetrate to the backfield, square up and tackle. And it is the running back who is seen as deficit.

Bonus: the thought process includes v-i-d-e-o.

CowboysZone. It never stops. :banghead:

I don't know how anyone can say. Elliott's better than Prescott simply because ones are running back and one is a quarterback. You'll have to Define yourself better on that subject for me
This doesnt make sense

You dont have to play the same position to be considered a better player.

Who is a better player, Tank Lawerence or Anthony Brown?

Zeke is elite at his position while Dak is #average

Well thanks for clarifying your meaning. I don't think he's a better player I think he's just a different player

OL is very good but it still takes a very good RB to take advantage of that OL. I have seen RB who just run up the backs of OL or too late hitting the hole, but great backs know how to use the blockers in front of them and when to turn on the jets and hit the hole. I don't see it being one over the other I think for a successful running attack you need the OL and a RB who can take advantage of it

Thats what happens when the defense doesnt have to worry about the QB beating them. They can focus 100% on stopping the engine that drives this team.

That’s why the former O.C. got fired. He should have called play action in that scenario going against the best DTs. Hell Zeke would have gotten a 1st down with easy dump off from “Check-Down-Dak”

Dak isnt the one being run into the ground because the success of the team depends on it.

Zeke is smart for holding out and you know it.
You mean this Zeke being run into the ground? It's more like Zeke choked in the moment and ran with his head down, timidly, straight into his center's back instead of either running behind left guard or diving over the pile like Emmitt would have for the much needed 1 yard on 4th and 1 late in the game with the playoffs on the line.

Actually the passing game was fine. Dak didn’t turn it over and outplayed Goff. The real problem was not getting that 4th and 1 because they had a chance to tie up the game. Also the Rams controlled TOP so the Cowboys didn’t get a ton of opportunities.

Same Rams D basically shut down Brady so a good QB wouldn’t necessarily light up that D.

I believe OC was the real issue . Offense needs a balance between run and pass plays. Play-Action would have been perfect for that scenario with a mobile a QB and RB that can pass protect or catch

I don't know if it's smart of Elliot for holding out or not. I know we don't need him and it's a good thing he's not in Camp so we can really see what these rookies have. I didn't expect him to play much in the preseason anyways

Actually I think we passed 520 times to running 500. We were pretty balanced just predictable. And I was actually surprised to see that statistic

Dak is in training camp leading his team in practice, twice a day, while allowing his agent to deal with his upcoming contract extension like a real man does. While Zeke is out partying like a greedy/selfish baby in Mexico.

Dak is the ****!

Yo Zeke ain’t partying, it’s business decision. He deserves to get paid just not crazy pooo amount.

How Sir do you dare to question our Zeke?
Let me tell you the facts and only the Facts.
Zeke has accomplished all the below since 2016 with a QB that no Defense respects and are pretty much in single cov all game long as there playing 7-8 men in the box to stop .....wait for it ....wait for it.....ZEKE!!!!
Imagine what Zeke and our offense could do if defenses also feared our passing game?
Next please.... and bud Sell Crazy elsewhere!!!!

Yo Murray had same rushing before Zeke got here , it’s the system although Zeke is talented.

Uh huh, it's all business when it comes to Zeke. Just wait until the new batch of Zeke in Cabo pictures from the paparazzi come out.
