Very happy the results were negative, this kid has a lot of drive and ambition, I like that and hope its spreads throughout the ranks like a virus.
Remember Kenny Gant and the shark dance,,, maybe Gifford brings his own style as well eventually.

It wasn't the INT that caught my attention but it was the sheer athleticism he displayed once he had ball. He will become fan favorite if he can stay on field.

He definitely passed the eye test. Especially for an undrafted guy. Would be amazing if he makes the team given the depth at LB already. Someone decent should be trade bait.

While it’s good news, he likely is out for the remainder of the preseason which means there is little chance they keep him on the 53. He will clear waivers and go to the PS. The other option is to put him on IR to keep him.

You find a way to keep a player like that, he will be getting reps this year. Lee will be injured. And putting him on PS will get him poached by another team..

Just by seeing him not be able to put any weight at all on the foot, I would guess he will be out 8 weeks, making him out until mid Oct. I would guess he goes on IR.

they wont get him passed the PS, the pregame all they did was talk about this kid, he plays this way in practice, flashed in the BW scrimmage and again tonight..if hes being talked about other teams will hear.. if a guy flashes this early and played great in college as well but slipped through crack, you find a way to get him on your roster..if a scrub project like Rico can be stashed away this kid should get the chance as well..

more like Sean Lee so he will get his chance, those other guys could never make it to a real game as Lee has..Coaches find room for these types of players..

...its a tough one, you wont see much of him anymore for rest of preseason. But he had good debut. Do you keep him? Does our linebacker core need more depth? Will be interesting to see.
