Was watching the Rams game and there were a few times I said that looks like Murray. I also remember how Murray use to destroy the Rams. They both are built pretty similar Murray is listed 6 ft 213 lbs at combine and Pollard is listed at 6 ft 210. Murray was faster 4.41 vs Pollard 4.52 but I think Pollard plays faster than 4.52 their broads and verts were very similar. Sure would be nice if Pollard can play like Murray. Until I looked at Pollard I thought he was just a scat back but now after taking a new look and watching in preseason I think he has true potential.

Pollard seems to have amazing acceleration. He reminds me of Deion, zero to full speed in a flash. He may not have the game breaking top end, but seems to have great vision and burst. He can easily take you to the dance.

Pollard is a legit 4.3 guy. He was recovering from food poisoning at the combine, which resulted in an unusually slow time. Ran much faster at his pro day.

The brass has said from the beginning that he could run between the tackles.

Some doubt him primarily because he wasn’t asked to carry the load at Memphis. We’ll see. If he can do it we’ve got a guy without much wear and tear on him.

Shoot I bet he is already like 220 lbs and can take on NFL defenders. I thought 4.52 sounded slow from what I saw. I like getting a back with a lot or tread on the tires.

And just like DeMarco Murray many people think Pollard cant handle a heavy work load. He didn't do it in college. He didn't do it in college. That's what they keep saying. Well Aaron Rodgers didn't play on a pro-style offense in college and look at how that turned out.

If I'm saying give Pollard a chance then by the laws of logic I also have to give Hill a chance. Preemptive limitations are not logical.

Pollard is a 4.3 RB. Was sick at the combine and ran a 4.3 at his proday.

Pollard ran the 40-yard dash and his best time was unofficially 4.37 seconds. It was an improvement from his combine performance of 4.52 seconds.

He said that he treated Pro Day as his combine because he battled food poisoning in Indianapolis, which affected him during workouts.

"I wasn't able to be 100 percent at the combine but I still wanted to go out there and compete and that's what I did," Pollard said.

DeMarco did carry a heavy load in college. Pollard played a role due to his all around ability. IMO he was the best back on that Memphis team and will proved to be that in the NFL.

And fans get upset at me for comparing Pollard to Kamara

He's better than Kamara a once in a lifetime player.....Pollard a talent only Jerry and his yes men could find down that in the 4th round..

Kudos Jerry you da man!!!

P.S. Who needs Zeke heck trade him for a 3rd rounder if we can get that for this bum.....:omg:

If you run 4.38 at your pro-day you're not a legit 4.3 guy. Combine runs always seem to be 0.02-0.04 seconds slower.
