We have to pay Zeke or trade him. That's what it boils down to.

If a team comes offering some picks that include a 1st then trade him and be done with it.

If not? Keep him.

The exact reason why Dak is successful is why Murray was successful. They had/have an all pro taking the pressure off of them and opening things up for them..

How can you possibly contribute to a fan forum without speculation?
I'm talking about factual statement. I didn't know you were looking for opinions. So what is your post about facts opinion or speculation because the three entirely different subjects. You seem to be all over the place by Cowboy brother pick one

This doesn't even make sense, what experiment. This is how you start rookies. In their careers

How many rookies are expected to be great in game 1? The experiment is replacing a sure thing with an uncertainty. We won't be able to sacrifice the first 2 games and still make the playoffs like we did in 92, not in this conference.

This entire thread is based upon the speculation of life without Zeke.

When you say don't drink the Kool-Aid. That's telling me, don't buy into the scuttlebutt. So I thought this was supposed to be factual.

Don't drink the Kool-Aid. Ezekiel Elliott is not the best running back in the league he's not even the top three

How many times has Elliot put the ball in the ground, including the ones he got back. How many times has Elliot slipped over his own ego. How many times was Elliot unable to take it to the house because he was too slow. How many times has Elliott missed his blocks. Taking the wrong angle. Missed the open hole. Imagine if he wasn't such a freaking knucklehead what he could accomplish.

You are FOS and there is no measurement which will support this claim.
I thought this was about opinions. I totally believe he's not in the top three. I don't care about how many yards he has. He couldn't tie Barkley shoe laces

Yeah what could I be afraid of? Going into the season replacing a top 3 back with a 4th rounder who didn't even start in college is a great plan.
So you agree he's a top three back. Now you're being a little hypocritical don't you think. Make up your mind. Because now you look like fos

Hypocritical on WHAT exactly? You said he was not a top 3 back.

I really like Pollard. That being said, hes not ready to be a bell cow. The running back committee is dependent on the passing game being effective, so that remains to be seen. Zeke might not be a necessity, but I don't think they are a playoff threat without him. They'll pay the man...its just a matter of when

And you said he was. But you reply to someone saying he is a top 3 running back. You know what now I just find a post that topic boring with an agenda

You're right. But if the Cowboys can get 850-1100 yards out of Pollard as the lead back in a committee approach then the season won't be a lost cause.

I like Pollard more than I liked guys like Joseph Randle, Darren McFadden, and Christine Michael.
That is a huge “if”. There is nothing in Pollard’s history that indicates he can be a starter in the NFL. He couldn’t carry the starting college RB duties and people think he can get 1000 yards in this league. He is nothing more than a situational player at best.
