How many times has Elliot put the ball in the ground, including the ones he got back. How many times has Elliot slipped over his own ego. How many times was Elliot unable to take it to the house because he was too slow. How many times has Elliott missed his blocks. Taking the wrong angle. Missed the open hole. I really like Pollard. That being said, hes not ready to be a bell cow. The running back committee is dependent on the passing game being effective, so that remains to be seen. Zeke might not be a necessity, but I don't think they are a playoff threat without him. They'll pay the man...its just a matter of when

You're right. But if the Cowboys can get 850-1100 yards out of Pollard as the lead back in a committee approach then the season won't be a lost cause.

I like Pollard more than I liked guys like Joseph Randle, Darren McFadden, and Christine Michael.

That is a huge “if”. There is nothing in Pollard’s history that indicates he can be a starter in the NFL. He couldn’t carry the starting college RB duties and people think he can get 1000 yards in this league. He is nothing more than a situational player at best.
