That’s the facts. He out played the contract but it’s a rookie deal. This should be dealt with in the next CBA.

Owners agreed that rookies would be able to negotiate after their 3rd year of their rookie deal if they felt they outplayed the contract. That was already in the CBA.

It was a poor choice of words by Jerry in a sensitive situation. It doesn't make Zeke a saint..........unless they trade him to the Saints.

I’d rather see him go to AZ and see how many yards he racks up without a top O line. I would buy the NFL package just to watch him suffer and throw side line temper tantrums Odiva style when he keeps getting hit in the backfield. Hell, he may even go all Denver on them and just quit in the middle of a play after getting hammered all night (and not the way he likes).

As much criticism as I’ve given Jerry over the years, which has been worse than Zeke at one point believe it or not, I “may” be starting to come around to the ole boy. This little “quip” of his has had me in tears. Don’t stop Jerry, the bottle is your friend!
