Jaylon is about the only player I would think that would have given a team friendly deal because the Cowboys took a chance on him when nobody else would. I don't think any of the other players will be so kind.
I do not expect them to be, the situation with Jaylon is unique.

It's a business to all of the players but every now and then some personal feelings get in the mix like Jaylon. I also don't think it's fair to those players to compare the situations. Jaylon also drew down a decent salary and didn't play a lick his rookie season and I am sure that plays into this from his side too.

If I am Jaylon, I am reaching out to the triplets to let them know my reasons for doing what I did and am not happy with this being used against them. It really looks like a set up from the Joneses to use this against the players that are going to pull 2 to 4 times what Jaylon will get, no other players should have been mentioned at the pc, that's bush league. To even insinuate that players have to go along with those two to help build the team is an insult. In the words of Belichick to both the Joneses "just do your job". The players are not responsible for building the team.

Several subtle shots at Zeke (and maybe Dak) at the Jaylon PC. He kept effusively praising Jaylon for looking out for the "team" with this contract.

Jaylon is working his butt off and he is with the team, not sucking his thumb in Cabo.
The earnest ones get paid at Frisco.
Next is Byron, then Amari then Dak then Zeke.

The Jones Boys talk too much but the fans will eat it up.

You know I take every situation individually. He was right to smack off on Zeke
I was actually totally surprised all the people know how quickly they change their attitude towards what he said. then should I have been. What happened to sticking to your guns

I think the biggest ******* in this is Zekes agent,we know that there has been very little headway in contract negotiations and i feel its all on the agent.

When players are negotiating contracts fans ALWAYS think the player's side is being unreasonable even though they know next to nothing about what's actually being said in meetings.

I was one of a handful sticking up for Jerry yesterday. looks like everybody's on his side now what a difference a signing makes

Lol. There were plenty of people sticking up for Jerry. As I stated above, most fans are on the side of management when players want new deals. Lawrence had no knuckleheadry about him and even he was branded a bad guy as soon as he wanted a new deal.

Yes they were people sticking up for Jerry. Nowhere near the majority. I call that a handful. Out of the 400 post 3/4 were against him maybe you don't understand the post that I was replying to. I was talking about one particular posting. Not in general

And Zeke's parents. His father has been chirping since the Spring that Zeke would become the highest paid RB in "history".
