They were the Cold Boyz in that Rams game.
Yep, the rapper Juvenile was in the group.Didn’t like it then, don’t like it now. It sounds juvenile. They’re football players, not a musical group.
Its fire
Folks showing their age in this thread
Don't mind the name really. I knew it was a rap group. I would just prefer that they earn a nickname. Otherwise, it's just self serving - they didn't look so hot against the Colts and Rams. Rings hollow now. It isn't up to me, but at least live up to it.Yep, the rapper Juvenile was in the group.
LOL I bet like 95% of the people who hate the nickname have no idea about the obvious origin of it. In the late ‘90s/early 2000s, the Hot Boys were a very popular rap group.
Had no problem with it last year and still have no problem. Just guys having a little fun.......

Cowboys 1-on-1: Tank Lawrence on 'Hot Boyz' claims and his return to the field
FRISCO - DeMarcus Lawrence is back - to claim his starting left end spot in the Dallas Cowboys defense, and to slap around any pretenders' claims to his "Hot Boyz'' throne.
"''It was real fun'' to be back, Tank told me in a 1-on-1 visit following his Tuesday return to practice after months of rehab from shoulder surgery. "Coach (Rod) Marinelli wanted to put his foot on me. But like we tell him, 'Once you've been broken so many times, it's hard to break a broken man.' ... We're comfortable with being uncomfortable. And that's how we play.'

The Hot Boys (often styled as Hot Boy$) are an American Hip Hopgroup formed in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1997. The group is made up of Lil Wayne, Juvenile, B.G. and Turk.
There could only be one Hot Boyz.. But stealing one of there’s members hits. Our Defense needs to Tell opposing Offenses to Back That A** Up!
Original.......
I respect your opinions, and agree with you at times. Perhaps some of us are older than the Ice Age, but teams earn nicknames, not pronounce themselves as great before their time! It would be a really cool nickname if we had that sixth ring!
Usually, the fans, media, or even their opponents pick the name in homage to their achievement. If we had 10 rings it would still be an embarrassing nickname.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.Same here, I think it is the gayest nickname in the history of the NFL.

Yeah, the brand does tend to evoke that sort of ego trip. I like Jaylon and Coop's attitudes - just play ball! The rest will take care of itself. Its completely embarrassing. A perfect example of why we continue to have little success in Dallas. The country club, I have arrived, I'm great, air of confidence that Dallas players feel when they haven't done anything.
Hell, they can call themselves the Hot Girlz for al
