Every player is 1 incident away lol. You are reaching. Randy gregory with so many failed tests is always 1 drug test away.

People overreact so much with Zeke. They act like he is out there causing problems every single week off the field. That witch hunt by Goodell has warped their minds on who he actually is. He's only "one incident away" because Goodell made it his mission to screw us over. And this is evident by other players actually being arrested and charged and not even getting a fine, much less suspended.

I think that Garretts influence is the major factor. Jason influence or greatest asset is not on Game Day.

We can certainly document the better drafts and personnel decisions to when Garrett took over in 2011.

Jerry has continued to make some of the same decisions he has in the past but he’s had greater influences. Remember what Parcells said” you have to convince Jerry to go against his instincts”. And I think Garrett along with Stephen have been able to do that only because of the success they’ve had.

But we still see some of the risk and poor or hasty decisions being made which have to be overcome. While Garrett deserves criticism for some of the Game Day gaffs all coaches have he deserves credit for steering our ownership in a better direction and sounder culture. And that’s what these fans are seeing.

Again, we all wish Jerry would retire or die but until he’s ready to give it up we aren’t sure there’s a better situation out there for us. We just don’t believe he’s willing to relinquish his “ jocks and socks” control and bring in a more proven HC and get hell out of the way.

I get what you are saying about coaching but I bifracate the coaching from the FO and feel the FO has done a great job putting this team in a spot to compete, i guess that's my main point and I hear you on Jerry but some thing has changed over the past decade or we would still have bad drafts with overpaid aging vets right?

I'm not even a big Zeke fan. Hopefully overtime he matures and changes my mind but i'm just not a fan of the guy right now.

With that said.. He's an awesome player.

He carried Ohio State to a National Title and ran all over Alabama in the process and he's came into the league and been the best rusher in football 2 out of 3 years and caught 70 balls last year when the team finally decided to make some sort of effort to throw him the ball.

He's a borderline perfect runningback.

Gurley looks like he is going to be a flash in the pan because his knees are giving out.

Zeke is a durable bowling ball that somehow still has great top speed as well.
Every generation has a Gale Sayers type player homie. Terrell Davis was my generations Sayers, in the 1980s it was probably Billy Sims. Gurley is looking like this generations Sayers.

What is the difference in using an email to submit the newspaper poll and an email to sign up here? Verifying emails does not make one opinion more valid than the other. You still have no idea who you are dealing with.

This message board represents Cowboys fandom perfectly across the board.

I’m arguing what’s changed is Garretts influence in building a better culture here despite his Game Day coaching flaws.

I agree there for sure, let's hope Moore hekps it translate to a championship gsme
And I think that’s part of the answer. Jerry doesn’t seem to mind bringing in more experienced and proven asst coaches who don’t pose a threat of taking away as much credit as a HC.

I’d of preferred going after a more proven or experienced OC like we have on defense.

Walking time bomb? Lmao. After the witch hunt (that had zero evidence), what exactly has happened with Zeke? A security guard falling over where even Goodell knew was such a non incident he didn't fine Zeke, much less suspend him. A speeding ticket? Although that happened before the suspension I think.

Zeke has not even been detained once, much less arrested. Keep overreacting, though.

Lol. If you can't see a problem with this guy then whatever. Such a great role model. Keep underreacting.

Its a dice roll with Moore. He could be exposed by more veteran DC across the league. We have no history on his play calling, etc so it’s all just hopeful prayers at this time.

It all will come down to execution . But I think some fans simply expect improvement simply cause there’s a change .

Nope, Zeke is great. One of the best. But he is also an idiot and a suspension liability. Non leader. And he has had great years and not so good years. Last year, was his worst year statistically.

Clearly someone like you doesnt understand that. Not a big deal. Keep getting getting angry and throwing out insults.

Its not important if you get it or not.
There is no point to anything you say. You spend pages arguing against Zeke and you use TD's because you can't find any other way to formulate an argument. You get rolled up on that one naturally. Its hard to win a debate when you are wrong and arguing from a position of weakness.

Now you are going on about Zeke being great.

The truth about you is that you just need attention and someone to talk to so you argue both sides of anything just to have someone to argue with.

Whats the point in arguing with you when its clear you don't even believe in the arguments you are making.

You are a message board troll. I get it. You are not that unique. Others here are like you.
You are lucky the community can't throw a label on your username.

Fans can be so fickle. Most are offended by the millions the players make but have no issue with the billions owners are making.
Let the players go to work at Wal-Mart with their greed. I have no problem with owners making money. It is a business that is no different than any other business and the owners should make money.

But the players are the product . Much like an artist on a CD or actor in a film or on TV.

The NFL is sports entertainment at the highest level , not just a game.

Zeke will sit.

Only making 3.8 mill in 19.

Can sit and make the 3.8 up in GTD money next deal.

Zeke has all the leverage.
Do you understand ANY of this? Zeke has zero leverage. All he can do is NOT play and rack up fines. If the Cowboys win a couple of games without him, he will finally understand. If the Jones' play hardball, Zeke is hosed.
